The real fun was wading through the sounds to find the one that steps out of the line.
The guitar licks had the attitude man! The drums for some reason reminded me of "Fhe Fez", by Steely D. I find that Metheny has these extended pieces that go to many sonic places, tried to do
that with this piece.

Bass, and Guitar/Synth live and the parts are like the hand percussion played in by me.
As well as Keys, and Horn parts. Loop is the basic snare kick clap.
Everything else handcrafted and hair pulling. My heroes inspired me to
take this different direction.

Well that first minor 10th interval got my attention, and I strapped in.
This would be more accurately categorized as a Classical (Contemporary) which should be a choice.
The execution far exceeds what I would typically hear in New Age piano pieces.
That was heavy.
Great facility on the piano.

Thanks Z. He once let me sit in on a closed rehearsal he was doing at the U.of Miami, with the CJB reading his NoName Big Band sketches.
Never forgot his energy to acheive a certain sound. I remember he told the keyboard player, "Put more dirt in it", to get a hipper sound.

This was in fact my first attempt at writing something in this Genre which was driving me.My template for structure was visual.I mentally followed the innervision/scenes, tapping into the emotions they emanated,yet my compostional vocabulary in finding the words.."notes" to completely express this story didn't hinder me from trying.
