| Tomorrow When the War Began by ihussain | 3 months ago |
| Your string arrangement is getting better and better, Lots of moving lines (Counterpoint in places( and not block chords as so many others do. The dynamics on the lines are swelling - nice to hear (Real string players never play flat). To beef up the sound in places you could add a bass line in the strings - on my speakers I think you went as low as the Celli. If you double this with soft brass and woodwinds, melting into each other, it would subtly widen and lift areas. I think you are beginning to see what work it can take to pull off a good piece like this and the attention to detail is showing. Well done sir well done... time for another listen ![]() |

Lush arrangement John. Would like to hear some more woodwind coming through and doubled with some string lines - but that's just personal preference. Your familiar piano lines mark it as yours Lovely theme. Well done as usual an engaging and uplifting experience. |

I love your counterpoint and moving lines. This is a must in string writing they seldom play block chords as a keyboard player would. It's a splendid piece and I Love it. Just keep an eye on your expression/modulation as I hear sharp changes- try editing them as long curve changes it works a treat! Well done |

| Well done. It's a great tribute. Haunting and full of mixed emotions. Many people's beliefs are tested at this time. Thank you for this tribute. | |

Hi there thought I'd stop by and have a listen. Nice chords and changes very interesting and could evolve a good melody. Speaking of melody I like your vocals but are a bit repetitive for my ears. They could be variated into a melody with counter melody (female) perhaps. Personally this could be evolved into a stunning track. What you have here is catchy but a simple melody could raise it further. Well done keep it up. ![]() |

| Through The Sand of Time by Mike_Lynn | 7 months ago |
Well I have to say a lovely piece. Melodically strong and sweeping. Just a tip if you part and space the string backing out further than a few chords with some moving lines would bring a new dimension. Also if you blend a solo string for each section with the ensemble (Celli, viola, Violin) very quietly it adds realism with average samples. I really enjoyed this and yes words and vocals would be great. Well done ![]() |

| The Woman I Love by KennethLavrsen | 8 months ago |
| Nice one Ken. I really like the melody and accompaniment my only advise would be to introduce minimal counterpoint in the string arrangement to break up the block chords and may be add a little swell to the dynamics. I love your choir and builds. There is variation on instrumentation and I like how you conclude the piece. Congratulations a piece your wife should be proud of. | |
