| "I think this could be completely spectactular with a reworked bassline and drum rhythm... all the musical elements are dead on though." Exactly. You have the groundwork for something AWESOME here. I would take out the snare; it seems a bit out of place with this style of music, slightly repetitive after awhile, and perhaps a bit too loud. The rest of the drums/fill are great, though. I could definitely hear this on the radio with some big-name rapper busting out vocals - record a vocal track! That would make it complete. |

This is really very good. You definitely have a good "rap voice", it reminds me of Sage Francis voice (that's a really good thing). The entire song was well produced, nice smooth and downtempo piece. Well done and keep making more! |

My only criticism would have to be that the intro is a bit slow and drawn out, I found myself waiting impatiently for something new to happen... although the buildup was well done, it was rather long. Otherwise, excellent job. Not enough songs these days have solos! |

I don't know how to describe this piece except as absolutely beautiful. The full, melodic, sweeping strings complement her voice perfectly. wow... this is one of the few songs on iCompositions that I actually downloaded and listen to regularly. Great job! I made a piece using the emotional piano loops as well; I love how they sound. You did a good job putting them together, but what I really like is the synth in the background. I love how it builds up to the end; I feel like it could be used in one of the Lord of the Rings movies, except rather than fade out, it would burst into a epic, climactic explosion as two armies collide. Think you can do that?  Concept and creativity are low because of the predominance of loops and performance is 4 because it should be longer! |

This is awesome. I usually don't like songs that use only loops but you give this a really organic feel. The percussion is done very well and doesn't sound like loops at all. The bass line and distortion guitar rock, and the few extra loops you threw in add spice to the melody. Keep up the good work! (creativity is 3 because it uses only loops, same reason for concept). The performance and production are flawless. |

This is good stuff -- it's refreshing to hear original music without loops (exclduing the drums ... I usually do the same thing, create my own music but use drum loops because percussion isn't really my forte). This track is very relaxing and ambient, I like it a lot. |

This is awesome, really well done. Throughout the song I was waiting for you to go crazy and have a guitar solo over the distortion guitar playing the chords -- that would be awesome. Also, you have a really good voice, and I wish you would push it out and utilize it in more ways than the soft melodic singing you do (which is really good, I just thought maybe you could have a part where you really push your voice to the limits and let the emotion pour out during a guitar solo or something). Great song, keep em coming. |

Holy mother of god. This song is AWESOME. The only issue I have with it is in the middle where it's just strings and drums, it seems a little dragged out because the drum bit gets repetitive. But otherwise this is amazing. |

| Thanks for all your feedback! I really really really appreciate it. As for the guitar... I have to come clean: it's actually a GarageBand software instrument. I tweaked the steel string acoustic instrument for a rich, full bodied and mellow acoustic sound and played the melody with my keyboard. |

| thanks, I really appreciate that. and yes, I know... the trouble with me is that I have an inspiration for a song, compose it, but then never have the motivation to get it totally finished. So basically I end up with like 50 different thirty second tunes that I need to flesh out more and extend. I'm gonna start working on making my songs more like real songs rather than just musical experiments. | |

| hahaha thanks for the comments! for the beats, I manually wrote in the notes in the GB editor. there is one GB beat that is layered over at some points which I tweaked by getting rid of and adding elements/effects. as for the rapping... haha, yeah thats my first time and I'll definitely get someone else to do the vocals for any future songs. |
