Very nice guys. I'm a big fan of the original, especially the mood. You definitely preserved that mood and put your own flavor into the tune.
Therapee by hasacat 2 months ago
Spectacular - so full of emotion, and the lyrics are stellar. Really cool song, but the mix did seem a bit jarring in a few places. Please let me know when the next version drops - I don't want to miss it.
He Ain't Comin' Back (with vocals v2) by ScottStoked 2 months ago
Very raw and powerful. Definitely digging on this. Scott, the vocals are right in your wheelhouse - well done man.

Comfortably Numb + Pretty Vacant = ....this. Great one guys.
Tripwired by sonsofhypnos 3 months ago
Very cool gentlemen. I love the shuffling beat, and the guitars/vocals fit really well. The volume is pumping, but not uncomfortably loud to my ears.
I'm On My Way (from nowhere) by Vixen 3 months ago
Very cool and catchy - definitely dig the cool 60's feel of the vocals. Quite a nice mix of music and vocals - great job.
Burnin' by ScottStoked 4 months ago
Fantastic man - you did a great job bringing this together. The vocals are so strong, and the guitars are a perfect fit. Congrats to both of you.
BLUE OR PINK? by Alien8ed 6 months ago
Lovely guitar work - like you can feel the notes floating around you. The vocals are a great addition and fit very well. Very cool collaboration.
Behind The Wall by Alien8ed 6 months ago
Very engaging music track. Was interesting to hear the Wall lyrics placed over it; but I think it definitely worked well. I dig interpretations.
If you don't like it by hasacat 7 months ago
This put a ridiculous smile on my face. It's pure awesome - I love it. Classical punk.
Wool the Eye by sonsofhypnos 8 months ago
Super cool artwork, too, Age.
Wool the Eye by sonsofhypnos 8 months ago
Very cool groove in this tune. Great vocals (goes without saying), and I dug the guitar work a lot. If I could make one suggestion, it would be to try and add a little more variety to the drum track. It's surprising how much difference a slight change to the beat or a few well-timed fills could make. But overall, a well done collaboration by some talented artists.
ET Freak by JackFancy 9 months ago
Very cool man. Great groove and absolutely fantastic lyrics. I wish I could think up stuff like that.
Nothing Else Matters by Vixen 9 months ago
Wonderful - my kind of cover. I love to hear songs re-imagined in a different style/genre, but stil retain the vital parts of the original (melody and whatnot). You guys do a great job of that here.
Shall we play a game? by nexusone 10 months ago
Man, this is so sickeningly good! What a groove; what heaviness - and all with synth? I had to break out the guitar, drop it down to D and play along. Great work man.
We Were Alive by BewareTheFish 10 months ago
Splendid. I've always admired the way you layer the vocals and guitars to fill out the space. Great writing too.
Quiet/LOUD/Quiet by BewareTheFish 10 months ago
Very nice tune; well written and produced. The mix of acoustic, electric and smooth vocals really make it stand out.
Unscathed by nexusone 10 months ago
Very impressive synth work. I love that dirty bass. This is some really good stuff; would be great backing music for an exotic dancer.
Street Spirit (cover) by Smileygeezer 11 months ago
Love Radiohead, The Bends especially. This song is so beautiful, and you created a very nice tribute to it. The vocals hold their own, in my opinion; though you are correct in that very few can emulate Mr. Yorke. Guitar sounds great.
Fortunate Son (CCR Cover) by Baboon 11 months ago
My god, what an epic battle between guitar and vocals. Irresistible force meets immovable object, and so forth. What a kick-***, speaker-rattling tune. I've always loved the attitude of this song - there's a reason that so many punk bands covered a CCR tune. You guys did it justice.
Mouth of Wilson (final version maybe) by theironsaul 11 months ago
Really digging your style. I second what @brewchugger said.
Amy (the real final version} by theironsaul 11 months ago
This is one infectious tune; couldn't stop myself from grooving along to it. Love the wailing guitar over the solid acoustic riff. Great job on the vocals as well.
Willow Willow by Vixen 11 months ago
Very lovely - the subtle guitar is the perfect backing for the wonderful lyrics and vocals. A powerful and moving listen.

Wow, what a cool listen. Very unique and emotive. Well done.
"you" by mynameisjealousy 12 months ago
Well, since "****" can only refer to a few words, here's hoping it's the one that begins with an "f" and not the one that begins with an "s". smiley

Locomotive Breath by pharmakeus 1 year ago
2007? Really? Wow, where have the years gone? smiley

Always knew I made the right choice coming to you with this one. Some subtle changes, but noticeable to my ears. Nicely mastered, and totally love the beefed up effects ('specially the delay) on the solo! Super job, and thanks to everyone for the compliments.

To quote a famous madman, "Winning."
Levitiricetam by GuitariusMaximus 1 year ago
Wow, this is a very cool listen. I like the mix - a lot of very interesting things going on in different places. Goes without saying that the playing is very impressive. Nice job.
Tangable by Korrupted 1 year ago
Quite a cool sound. I dig a good blend of heavy and electronic, and this was well put together. Builds nicely.
Frightened of Sharks by Smileygeezer 1 year ago
This is terrific man; really well structured and put together. Everything works just right and fits.

Loved the layered guitars and the simple, but compelling beat. It sort of reminded me of "Hard To Concentrate" by the Red Hot Chili Peppers. Similar in feel.

Well done Smiley.

Most excellent. Two great tastes that taste great together - what more could you ask for? Keep em coming.
All Apologies by pharmakeus 1 year ago
Great interpretation man; really dig what you did here.

One thing was driving me crazy, though - that synth line at the beginning of the solo was so reminding me of another song, and I just couldn't figure out what it was. Finally came to me - reminds me of the intro to In the Light by Led Zeppelin. Freakin' cool.
Mad World (Tears for Fears Cover) by Bachthoven 1 year ago
Very cool man - a great listen on headphones. Very good additions - I like the touch that the strings add. Thanks for your contribution.

The Secret of the Northern Lights by pharmakeus 1 year ago
What a great tune - love the feel of it. Starts with a cool rhythm, and the leads and vocals really spice it up nicely. The harp and backing vocals are the icing on the cake. I dig it.

Great job Smiley. Thanks for the additions smiley
Wish You Were Here (Pink Floyd cover) by Citizencal2 1 year ago
I really enjoyed your unique take on this song. I'd be lying a bit if I didn't say I kinda missed the guitar (it's one of my favorites to play), but your great vocals take centerstage anyway. Well done.
Better To Give by GALAXIS 1 year ago
Oh man, this is a catchy, rocking tune. Cool guitar work, and I kinda dug the lo-fi vocal approach (though maybe just a tad too lo-fi; I'd agree with upgrading the mic - you have the talent). Had to download this one. Thanks.
Mad World (Tears for Fears cover) by SteveScott 1 year ago
What a cool interpretation - very dramatic and powerful. Really fills the void between the Tears for Fears and Gary Jules versions. I agree, the build is the key here - nice job on the music and vocals.

Well done.

Very cool listen. All kinds of interesting things going on over a tight groove. Enjoyed.
Mad World (cover) by LukeButler 1 year ago
Man, I like this a lot. Both versions have their merits, but I think I prefer the first take, though I would have liked to hear the drums a little louder in that mix. The things I really liked were the vocals and the swelling synth. Great job man - you really made it your own.
BackDown by sammydix 1 year ago
Another very cool tune my man. Love the percussion backbone of the song, and you built it nicely from there. I think the thing that I enjoy most in your songs is the vocal layering and harmonies; makes me kinda jealous that I can't sing. Well done.
Spanish Bombs (The Clash cover) by Dyl 1 year ago
Great choice; even better performance. This just flat-out sounds fantastic. Nice.

Bleed It Out (Linkin Park Cover) rough edit by SyDobi 1 year ago
Pretty impressive for a quick cover man. The rap vocals were very good and you made a wise choice keeping the melodic vocals within your range (versus trying to strain to hit Chester's notes). Sounds like you had fun.
Diamonds and Rust by pharmakeus 1 year ago
Most excellent sir; love the electric and acoustic guitar sounds. I never knew who did this song originally - but I've always really dug the Judas Priest version. You've made it your own, as you've done successfully with many a tune. Nice work.
Wizards in Winter by Fioretti 1 year ago
Very cool. Great guitar sound and playing - you're quite the talent.
White Metal by sammydix 1 year ago
Love it man. Great concept - I've heard of black metal before but never white metal. Nice and heavy but with a groove; just the way I like it. Keep 'em coming.
[LiesToChildren] Ocean by Eidolonia 1 year ago
Great tune guys. The bass/drum intro really drew me in and set up anticipation of the guitars, which didn't disappoint when they came. Massive tone and depth - especially the leads. Well written and played. I thought the melodic vocals were a good fit, though I was hoping to hear a little more bite/screams in certain places (but that's just me).

Will definitely be back for some more.

Very cool man. One of my fave (and most under-rated) albums. I dig your take on it - well played and sung. The tempo change gives it a different kinda flavor.
Creep (wRex) by RubyDubidoux 1 year ago
Wow, that was cool. Glad you opted for the f-bomb version instead of the one with "very". Makes it even cooler.

Only Women Bleed by pharmakeus 1 year ago
Man, I love this song - and what you've done with it. Very cool feel and mix of sounds; I really dug how full it gets at the bridge, with the backing synth and chorus. Then that harp sneaks in - good stuff.

Seriously, bro, is there any genre that you can't smack upside the head? This was just plain awesome - a perfect mix of grit, groove and vocal smoothness. Who knows how long this will be stuck in my head? I better be hearing more of this stuff from you two.

Still can't stop listening to this. Killer vocal dynamics. Thanks for the additions to and comments on the music.
Two Beams of Light (acoustic demo) by ageisbell 1 year ago
Excellent work guys. You're lucky - live drums beat the heck out of loops any day, and the playing here sounds great. I really dug the feel of this tune - in parts it really brought to mind one of my fave bands, System of a Down (especially the beginning and end sections). Really looking forward to how this progresses.

What a fantastic piece - high concept and expertly executed. I really dug how everyone brought their own flavor to the recipe. Very enjoyable listen.
Keys To Hell by sonsofhypnos 1 year ago
Cool. A bit of a different sound for the Sons. I like the mix of instruments; the synth bass and floating piano lines are interesting touches. Greg's lyrics and vocals are stellar, as usual. Nice.

Cool. I love the riffing in this tune - nice tone. Agree with Eido about the panning. Overall, well done.
Alejandro - Lady Gaga (Metal remix) by uptheirons106 1 year ago
Nice work man; great guitar and piano-work. Music suits the vocals very well. Now, you do know that I'm going to have to report you... just kidding.

Funny thing though; I did a rock-remix of Paparazzi with the real vocal track, but I didn't post it because of the Service Terms. Ended up just posting the music (guess I'm not the rebel you are). smiley

Good ear LH. It is Paparazzi by Lady Gaga. I'm trying to figure out how/where to post the version with the vocal track and link it from here. Anyone have any ideas on this?
Californication by pharmakeus 1 year ago
Cool one, man. I love this song.

Was waiting for some blues harp to make an appearance, but alas, it never did. Would've fit in nicely.
Fellow Man by ageisbell 1 year ago
Fantastic mood, man. Love the guitar sound and building delay, and your voice fits in there perfectly. I do have to agree with Pharm though; a small change here or there (even just in pitch) would really take this to another level.

Hope you got some more coming.

Fantastic. Man that guitar sounds good.
Fusillade by sonsofhypnos 1 year ago
Love it guys! Great lyrics - really, too cool. And it's redundant to say the vocals on a Sons tune sound great, but I'll say it anyway. Great job, and thanks for adding to my tune. One last thing, I really dug how you slipped that guitar riff into the mix - it kinda changes the mood up a bit, but in a really cool manner. Props.
Get Back In Your Hole by sonsofhypnos 1 year ago
This is rock-tastic. Cool electro-rock groove with killer vocals on top. Only suggestion I'd make - Age, crank up those backing screams. If you got it flaunt it (and not too many out there got it).
The Bleeding and the Bled by sonsofhypnos 1 year ago
Always a treat to see a new Sons track pop up backstage - and I've yet to be disappointed. You guys put out such a distinct style; the seemingly disparate parts always end up tying together so well.
The Boys of Summer by DaveM 1 year ago
Fantastic cover, man. You are truly a talent.

Cool take. Was just listening to the PJ version on the radio the other day. You definitely brought your style to it.
[LiesToChildren] Horizon by Eidolonia 1 year ago
Nice. What a great build in the intro; really gives the sense of something ominous brewing. And the meaty guitars deliver the goods - love how the heaviness slowly overtakes the calm of the beginning. Well done.
