Biography
Below is the Bio we used to send out with our demo. Though we officially retired the band two years agao, we still pick up a gig here and there just to keep the band breathing. We also get together to record for fun in the basement as you can hear by some of the songs we have posted on this site. Our last big job oppertunity was an offer one week after we retired the band from Disney Japan for a 6 month stint. Unfortunately for us we had three members expecting new family members at the time and we reluctantly turned down the gig leaving us to wonder what if? Oh well, we've had a blast keeping the oldies alive and always enjoy jaming for the crowd. Maybe one day we'll start er back up on a regular basis but for now, too many family commitments to fully dedicate ourselves. I'm sure many of you have been there before! Rock on!

You’re invited to take a trip back in time to the fabulous 50's & 60's, back to the days of the Twist, the Mashed Potato and the Stroll. To an age when soda jerks were employable, where letter jackets and greasy hair were not an option and cars had eight cylinders.
The Bel-Airs are a young, energetic 6 piece 50’s and 60’s band from the Silver Lake, Stow-Munroe Falls and Cleveland area and include the following members:
Jeff "the Twister" Bender (lead vocals)
Mike "Pipeline" Rowan (piano/vocals)
Johnny "the Diceman" Ferrato (lead guitar)
Key “the little man with the big horn” Traylor (saxophone)
Tim "I'll have the #2" Keo (bass guitar/vocals)
Charlie "the Fuzz" Simms (percussion)
Tom "the Squealer" Hessel (sound engineer/promotions manager)
For over ten years, the Bel-Airs have performed their Rock n’ Roll Oldies show for twisting crowds at festivals, car shows, concert series and clubs throughout Northeast Ohio and eastern Pennsylvania. A sample of venues the Bel-Airs frequently perform at include:
