I’m a writer. A writer must always write. Although it may not seem much writing comes from me these days, the complete opposite is true. There’s a detailed journal to keep, where thoughts and memories can be reviewed. A place to sort of connect to when the mind gets so cluttered and fatigued.

Another month has come and gone. So many things to report on!

Fortunately, the last few weeks have been much easier in the department of my being able to create. Chalk it up to luck that some music came together through the ups and downs. As for grandma’s health issues, it will be several weeks before the shunt is inserted.

From two weeks ago, when I first saw the site was down.

First off, let me apologize for not posting a blog before now. There are some things happening in my personal life right now that have demanded way more time than I thought they would. By the time a day was over, I didn’t have the energy, mental or physical, to try and tackle anything else. I did manage to get some things accomplished and hopefully, I can resume regular updates.

Although it doesn’t feel like I accomplished much this past week, it wasn’t for lack of trying. Read on and you’ll discover why.

There always seems to be time for the unexpected, even when there’s a million things that need to be done. Of the three days I had this last week to accomplish anything, I only got to use two.

There’s a certain appeal to meeting challenges head-on and conquering them. This last week saw two such instances, two I’m particularly proud of for my upcoming INFLUENCES TRIBUTE COLLECTION.

Four tracks were finished for BELLATRIX’S MUSIC BOX this last week. It seems as if that project just doesn’t want to end! ;-) In some little ways, the music takes on a life of its own. Whether or not it’s completely finished yet, who knows.

Some weeks I think fate conspires against my getting much accomplished! LOL In the States, did you all remember to set your clocks back? I didn’t until a little while ago. However, I could have used a few hours to catch up because I’ll still be behind! It’s been busy here, mainly behind the scenes. This blog entry will be a bit shorter. Most of what I have to tell you is a peek into the busy work that often entails and entangles my time.

Two weeks have passed. So much was going on last weekend, I didn’t have time to write a blog, much less work on my own music. However, music was an inspiration all last weekend in the form of putting some videos onto DVD as well as musical research. So, there’s a lot to share with you this time. Get comfortable!

There’s a lot of busy work still carrying over into this week. That’s the reason for a tardy blog entry. However, lots to talk about! Let’s get started, shall we?

Running a bit late this week. But, for good reason. It’s been a busy time! BELLATRIX’S MUSIC BOX is nearing completion. Two of my albums are getting ready to launch. My creative life is good!

A lot of music for BELLATRIX’S MUSIC BOX was completed this last week. You run with inspiration when it strikes, trust me! It’s a good thing to do. So, a lot to tell you about on that front.

Don’t you just love it when your best laid plans come together more perfectly than you could have imagined? That was my musical experience for the past week, though perfection is sometimes born of frustration, or through dogged trial and error. So, a little of each of those went along with what I was able to accomplish this last week.

It didn't really feel like there was a lot to tell you about this week, until I looked back at my journal. The busy came in cycles, jumping spasmodically from project to project.

Another week has come and gone. Sometimes, it feels like nothing gets accomplished. Until I sit down long enough to write these blog entries, that is. Either way, time has a way of getting away from me lately.

This week’s blog is short. Everything I managed to accomplish happened to be busy work as opposed to creative.

A shorter blog this week. Most everything happening is behind the scenes stuff.

For the most part, this week’s blog entry is again all about the music. Plus something exciting about to take shape!

Back on track! Hopefully. ;-) This last week, other than trying to resolve issues in my personal life, all effort went into music.

It’s been a few weeks, I know. When that happens to me, it’s usually because there’s nothing much happening, or because there’s a lot of behind the scenes busy work on my part. If I said this blog was full of details, which would you choose? ;-)

A big blog entry this time around, packed with a lot of information. The creative juices are flowing! These last few weeks were all about writing, and the next musical project I’m undertaking.

Summer is here! Which means I’ve been a bit slow getting blogs finished. ;-) But, there’s another two week’s worth of stuff to fill you in on.

Remember the week before when I mentioned story ideas are really blooming? The same held true for this last week as well. Plus there was busy work to be done for music related stuff

Behind the scenes stuff to tell you about this week, as opposed to my finishing any music. You know it’ll happen eventually!

A week a mixed results to tell you about this time. They happen sometimes. And, they tend to make me learn new things in the long run.

A few minor things first up this week. Although they seem rather insignificant, sometimes a lot of thought is placed into those decisions.

At the moment, I think BEYOND MARSTROPOLIS is finished, making for three albums in the can! (I should feel good about this, yes?) There may be a track or two to play with. However, I have to hold something or a few somethings off because I have more music than will fit on two CDs. It will get worked out somewhere. The hold overs will be on RAHU.

It’s a beautiful Spring day here in Michigan. The sun is shining, things are starting to grow. I feel a renewed sense of energy coming on. In fact, I managed to complete a little more work this last week than I thought I would. Here’s that long blog I’ve been promising you!

Wow. I just noticed this is blog entry number fifty since I started recording XENOPHOBIA last year. It sure doesn’t feel like than many.

From your side of the screen, things might seem to have ground to a stand still lately because there isn’t much for me to report. However, I can assure you there’s a lot going on, even when I don’t have a super long blog. Those will return again soon enough! (It takes a little time to create all that great music!)

Another short entry this week. However, things are still progressing very well.

Although this will be a shorter blog entry, lots of things are going rather swimmingly.
