| Hi Carla! I just picked up my macbook pro, and recorded the backings right into the built-in microphone... it sounds a little like "telephone-voice", but I quite like the result. I also used Alloy and Ozone for the mastering, they're very great plugins for refreshing and "upfronting" vocals ^^ |

| I covered this song as well, with other artists here on iComp... we did a more "rockish" version... Your take on this song is completely different, it goes into a more introspective way. That's very good: it reminded me of Gary Jules's version at first, but then it goes into a very unespected new direction, with that wonderful guitar work (it sounds like some Robert Fripp to my ears). I enjoyed very much the listening, what more can I say? Wonderful vocals, wonderful arrangement, wonderful mix. This is a top-class collab! BRAVISSIMI! ^^ |

| Ahahah... it's difficult to translate and still it wouldn't make sense for a no-italian person... this "song" talks about some other songs of the festival, and you're supposed to know those songs to understand this one... ...I can say you a "secret" indeed: The song "Italia amore mio" from Pupo, Emanuele Filiberto and an unidentified Tenor is "inspired" by Somewhere over the rainbow (basically, the chorus is the same...) So my song is a joke for the ones who followed the festival (and if you missed it, you missed nothing worthy, don't worry ^^) |
