Runa Los Atta.
The greatest band ever.
Aaron Weeks.
Michael Hilden.
Blotches the Yellow See Monster.

Runa Los Atta started in 2005, when Michael and Aaron decided to form a band. At that time, neither member knew how to play their instruments, nor did they own them. They decided to get Alex Coles as their drummer, who also had no idea how to play, nor owned a drum set. Great idea!
After a month or two, Aaron and Michael were trying to come up with a name. A few ideas were exchanged, then Michael typed random letters without looking. What resulted was: Runa Los Atta. That was September 11th, 2005.

Aaron and Michael got their instruments, and lessons, and Alex got a Borg. They were ready. One problem: They sucked.
The Coles' House Sessions was their first release. It consisted of mostly White Stripes covers and a Tegan and Sara cover. All songs were played by only Aaron and Alex, except for a version of Seven Nation Army, with them and Michael, and Jentry Speck on guitar.

Next up was Jimmy Valentine: The Man From The Lower Regions. An EP that was never properly completed. Four songs, two recorded in April 2006; the rest, recorded in June/July 2006.

The band decided to record a proper EP, for releas on their one year anniversary. The result was Cpt. Fidget's Chemically Altered Jam Band. Four real songs of everyone in the band, decent ones, too. The EP was mildly successful.

Six months passed, not a practise in sight. But then, a new idea. An entire album. Originally named "Freaky Tiki" by Alex. Most of the recording took place in March thru May 2007, with additional overdubs continuting until the day before release. The LP was titled "Runa Los Atta Goes To Tickle School", name coming from the song "Tickle Bus".
The album was released with good reviews, with people as far as Texas asking for copies. Even Simeon from Silver Apples (a legendary 60s electronic band) and Adam from One Cut Kill (both bands from the Gifted Children label) wanted copies. This album is just a sample of what to expect from Runa Los Atta in the future.

After kicking out drummer Alex Coles due to stupidness and headbutting affectionate band mates, Runa Los Atta is currently working on a new album, with multi-instrumentalist Blotches the Yellow See Monster.
