How beautiful, Karen!
I love the way this starts off so delicately – almost a music box (or kalimba?) intricacy to the beginning of your ride. Seems very much like a WOMAN’s ride – none of that ear splitting sans-muffler roar! smileyYou achieved a wonderful build as you wound your way upward, and you took me happily to the top with you. That final exciting REACHING THE SUMMIT sound was delicious icing on a tasty cake. How good to hear your talent again!
Your fan,
Anne

"is that what Jazz People do?" linda, you crack me UP!
you're a really good singer, and you have clear, definite, powerful ideas.
sing each song a buncha ways until the one that seems least contrived and makes the most sense for your emotional response to the song/phrase/word/syllable/silence presents itself.

(it's not always apparent where breath belongs. i'm not sure the piano player should be dictating that. )

i swear you couldn't have scripted/acted that HELP ME any better.

speaking of pimpage:

it seems at this site one is not sent notification in the form of email when a FAVORITE ARTIST posts. that's the ONLY reason i didn't pimp at s-ramp (don't get me wrong, i can do and have done some SERIOUS pimpage), cuz all who've marked me F.A. are sent emails, and i don't ever have to worry about pimping again.
