Shamoon Khatri was born in Karachi,Pakistan to a business family. However,after much dabbling in sports he finally discovered the joy of playing a toy keyboard and his journey in music began. His earliest musical endeavors included figuring out melodies from Bollywood films and music by local artistes. He struggled academically having been a dyslexic child but he always displayed an ear and talent for music which then translated to independent work in the music scene.His penchant for writing songs made him quite popular. His talent for music became even more apparent when he picked up multiple instruments with ease.The guitar,drums,flute etc all came natural to him.This encouraged him even further to finally take the plunge and commit to music full time. He then decided to enroll himself at ICOM(International College of Music) based in Kuala Lumpur(Malaysia). Studying music formally and learning new concepts propelled his talents further.He expanded his music vocabulary and has then also become an able music composer and producer.His current passion lies in Film scoring,jingles and all things related to providing music to video. He has successfully worked for a number of Malaysian professionals,providing them with quality music for jingles,cartoons and is really looking up and forward to his journey in this space.
