Thanks for your feedback!

I'll definitely check out the links. Larry Carlton played a great version with Joey DeFrancesco too, which I used as a sort of reference here.

Rework by SiddP 2 years ago
Thanks guys. Yeah, the bass is +4 and the guitars -2, but the quality of the vocals seems to have been seriously compromised. I think further compression and different EQ might do it, not sure.

Thanks so much guys smiley

yes it is a bit rough, and my voice isnt nearly as good as yours ClayPotts. Thank you for the opportunity to cover it.

Thanks a lot for the feedback smiley

Yeah, I think you're right about the intro, it isn't very good. And the fuzz guitar does get a bit irritating. Thanks Xolv smiley

Thanks a lto guys smiley

@n2groove: I had to sequence the bass for this song. That's why its clean. hmm, but I think it worked out ok.

@Hooligan: No, not really. but i might just write some, now that you've given me the idea.

hey nicely done Jeff.

But I think you synced mine out of beat. :

otherwise, everyone, great!!
Hed Rouse by BrainTree 2 years ago
It started out with a lot of dissonance, which was nice. Im being honest here. Its really good, but the effect of the dissonant notes (or maybe its the tone) wears off, and atleast to me, it gets a bit abrasive. Dont take my feedback the wrong way. I'm trying to be a bit constructive...

Well played! smiley
McNasty (open collab) by albumflaps 2 years ago
nicely played padre. I might just give this a try smiley
G.com JTC Redhouse by robbi 2 years ago
nicely played. I liked the beginning, particularly.

The tone is also nice, somewhere between clean and crunch.
Lester Cries The Blues by FrankAxtell 2 years ago
Just awesome.

I normally dont like too many fast riffs in a shuffle, but this had them at the right places
Medieval Peace by JTC 2 years ago
Wow. It really sounds medieval. You probably spent a lot of time just composing the riffs, and the harmonies.

Wonderful!

Summertime by pharmakeus 2 years ago
My all time fave jazz song!!

It's great. The guitars are nicely sparse, and the vocals are nice

But there's a certain feeling of continuity missing. Maybe adding a bass could make it a little smoother with out losing the awesome roughness o the song

Flight by rishabh1102 2 years ago
Its actually quite nice. Yeah, but:

Lower the piano in the mix

Add some more palpable variation, maybe... maybe break away from the riff for a few bars and play something different...maybe base it on the 5th or something

yeah, but nice to see you on icomp

Davids Song by albumflaps 2 years ago
Yeah, the tone is a bit digital (I'll have to agree with Greg on that)

but I really like how you end with a bend, and how you don't end on the root note.

Otherwise, really nice
