Nice feel. As for the pop shield,I got bye for years with a pair of tights stretched over a wire coat hanger.

Hi Luna. Thanks for stopping by. I take your comment about the reverb on board. I often double track my vocals and use compression to thicken up what is inherently a weak voice.
Faking It by morkjt 5 months ago
Very nice Mork. I can't wait to hear what you serve up in 2012.
Merry Christmas.

This is all about the lyrics and what a set of lyrics you have come up with. Intelligent, Poignant and as you say, the truth. Rock on Chris.
The Days of Pearly Spencer by Deebeesea 6 months ago
I remember the first time I heard this song. It was performed ny a chap named David McWilliams back in 1971. Yes, I really am that old. Your up-tempo synth version brings an old classic up to date. Nice one.
Moonlight by Vixen 6 months ago
Original indeed. I tried to think of someone it sounded like. Nearest I could think of was Tricky of Massive attack but the similarity is slight to say the least. Nice one.

Another great version of a wonderful song. Your voice is very Gary Jules.

Chugs along nicely. The changes kept me interested and I had to listen right to the end (that can't be said of everything I listen to).
Steady Imperfection by morkjt 7 months ago
Nice use of the piano. The opening is very un-Mork like but then the lovely Satriani-esque guitar comes in and the rest as they say is history.

This is really very good. I'm a big Purple fan and I think you've done them proud. Awesome bit of organ work.
Fever by Deebeesea 7 months ago
I think I'm hearing some tone issues at the beginning (or perhaps it's just my old ears), maybe some pitch adjustment required on the bass. Having said that, it soon sorts itself out and settles into a really nice collaboration. I think it's faster than than the original and that gives it a lighter, happier feel. Delicious vocals as always Diane.
Mi Amado II (Steel) by guitar55 7 months ago
Even better than Mi Amado 1 and that was pretty darn good.
Mi Amado by guitar55 7 months ago
There are some good guitar players on this site and there are some great audio technicians that know how to manufacture a sound. Thing that impresses me is that you are equally accomplished as both.
