Biography
The Piano. The music I write is very much written as I play it. There is no score no parts worked out and arrangement set. All I do is press record and play what I feel. I don't know what will happen with different parts as I play them or how the piece will end, it will just come together in time or just doesn't work at all. Those pieces of music I throw out.
The Guitar. Playing the guitar does not give me the freedom as like the piano but gives a different sense of appreciation for the passion in music. I cannot play freely as I do when playing the piano, but it is an instrument that deserves much respect.
Music is a passion, a life force and very much for me a form of meditation. It is an expression of the heart and soul and cannot be measured or expressed in words easily. Music is beautiful, strong, passionate, desperate at times, yearning and proud. But most of all music is a language that reaches universal boundaries even to the depths of the human spirit. Music is God.
