| As I said this tune has grown on me. When I first scooped it I thought it was well done and that I should easily be able to come up with something. I thought it really had that Euro-metal sound to it...especially the guitars. After working with it a few days I was surprised at how easily/quickly something came together. I don't think I'm breaking any new ground or anything but it was a lot of fun to try to match the musical style I thought was implied. The end result has a familiarity to it and yet I'm still rockin' to it. Thanks for letting me do this. | |

| Actually this one wasn't a cover....it's actually two songs. "Prelude" is just kind of strummy wanking, then a couple verses of a song I've played for awhile but not recorded yet called "Cancer". | I enjoyed the listen...love your voice as always. I'll cop to the "interesting" description too... I appreciate this type of "ambient sounscape" type of thing and sometimes listen to this sort of stuff. However, I don't listen often, don't find myself craving it or really thinking about it until I listen to it again. A " soundscape" seems to stay with you for as long as you're listening, a "song" can stay a lifetime. ummm yeah. Sounds great. |
