What a sound! Takes me back to childhood.

Nice, interesting, somewhat... unconventional(?) melody in the chorus and the subtle, harmony gives it good warmth. Great job not drowning it with harmonies, too.

Kind of a Proto-Punk / Glam Rock vibe going on. I like it.

Always a favorite of mine! Kind of melancholy, but not. Great job on it.

Wow, this really evokes (in me) early 90's Alternapop ŕ la Spin Doctors. Nice pure joyous feeling.

Update: This song keeps getting stuck in my head. Glad I like it.

This is a very strong melody. The arrangement seems to strip it down to it's core but it still wants to be big... hard to explain. Like it's somewhere between Pink Floyd's Goodbye Blue Sky and Anthrax's Belly Of The Beast. It's a wonderful piece that I'd suggest a grand reprise of later in the album, because this is leaving me with blue ears. smiley

The basic technique I lifted a long time ago from Steve Harris. Add to that some Budos Band and bit of mid-life 'nostalgia'...

Call me crazy, but the extreme spatial separation kinda makes me feel like I'm in the room listening to the band jam. Adds a touch of "down home" to it.

At any rate, a great bit of Southern Rock here. smiley

As an unrepentant Thrash addict I usually play with more gain than this. Had faster picking as well, but neither fit the groove this ended up with. Actually went clean at one point, but I guess I just can't help myself. smiley

Thanks!

No plans to warble along, no. That mood hasn't struck me for quite some time.
