Nice work, very captivating and ambienthiphopish which I like much more than what I get from current radio. This is not a beat you can pop on trying to talk about how much you got, the women you do, the shiny grill, or the mommas too, its a higher purpose track and I value those so much more than what is hot now. Repetitive, possibly, but so are so manythings in life yet we dont complain about them, LOL. However, I do hear where you but your changes in from chorus to verse, now a distinct bridge....maybe not but doesnt subtract. Over all awsome job man keep doing your thing! By the way you make furity loops sound good!!! I can't seem to do that with that program?!!? |

Yo, Im impressed, been working with a triton Xtream for a minute and I havent figured all the nuances out about it, for example doing the triplets you have in your snare and high hat, how did you do it? A very southen beat perfect for a ruff you up anthem. Anyway man all and all good stuff. |

| The choir sounds are premeturley cut off purposely, the actual idea behind the song came about from this cat i know who was trying to express how he wanted to get into Hip-Hop and be like bettleman (I think from the movie Day After Tomorrow) where by he's an E.L.E. needless to say just pipe dreaming, yet and still the choir is cut off to signify the cutting of other MC's voices/expression by his talant, I created around what this cat provided and figured I'd place it on, like many Icomp I have a library of music, and picked this one to just be heard, Thanks for the comment. Alexandre...man you did your thing on this beat...I first heard it with Liquids lyrics and man it was HOT...I love the combination of HIP HOP and Ragtime two genras I Symply LOVE!!! This has a dark whimisical feel to it (melencholy yet uplifting) especially when combined with liquids words, had me feeling like....man...I feel that, heck lived it! But I say all that to say this....music for me is about the creative production and how that entity (because good music is living) makes me symply FEEL.
