Steve is right in using "gritty" and "ethereal" to describe this... this track has a very nice ambient feel, but it doesn't let you rest too much with the slightly abrasive drones and the grinding timbres. I loved it! Very well done |

| Thanks alot Chris. The effect on the banjo was made with a delay pedal, but the sound is far from a delay actually. There are several "glitches" that I can get with that pedal by tweaking certain parameters just the right way in certain delay modes. The one this was recorded with is more of a distortion than a delay, even though a delay pedal was used. Anyway, thanks again for the comment and listen! | |
