THE OMEGA PROJECT was created to document the coming together of three of iComps veteran musicians. The combination of these artists creates a magical sound that truly needs to be experienced. PLEASE take the time and listen to a few of the tracks below. You will then understand why we took the time to showcase this small body of work.

"The Omega Project" is born out of a sheer love of music. A homecoming of sorts for the musicians involved. Their blend of musical styles creates a unique sound that reaches a wide audience.
It is iComp that brought these musicians together to form one of the many "cyber bands" that call this website their home. Formed in October of 2007 this Project hopes to touch listeners with a unique blend of music that stands as a testimony to both their experience and their joy of making music.
ABOUT THE MEMBERS:
FROM RUNE:
I have played piano since age 6. hands, brains, ears, cables and software are all excellent instruments, but music comes from the heart and soul. a channel to express moods and feelings. nothing technical about it. sometimes things just fall in to place. other times not. this is about the first.
FROM MICHAEL:
I play acoustic,electric guitars and keys.
I love and play a lot of different styles of music-i don't read music so I play with my hands-ears and heart
This project is one of the finest I've been involved in
the music we make come from the heart and soul of 3
musician who love what we do and hopefully you will
love to listen.
As Lenny says music is the language of the heart and that's really what this world needs now a common language of love.

FROM LENNY:
I play both piano and drums. But only drums with this project. I really feel most confident behind the kit. I LOVE many styles of music from classical to techno. This project is a project where I feel completely at ease. Free to stretch my wings and experiment a bit. I like working with Michael and Rune because of there abilities as both players and producers. It's about the music and surrendering to an idea for the integrity of the song itself. Technical ability is great but if it doesn't sound like music I think that the artist has not including the audience in the equation. Music is something to be experienced it should take you somewhere.......make you feel something.... happy, sad, it has been called the language of the heart. For me the goal of this project is to "speak volumes without uttering a single word." This is the best project that I have ever been blessed to be a part of.

A very bluesy track, gives you the feeling of being front row center in a jazz/blues club at 2 in the morning.

Most of the pieces that we have worked on are original compositions of Storkaas's. This piece is a shining example of the groups combined sound.

A Funk, Ambient, Jazz Hybrid with the vocal stylings of Elizabeth Warren aka Rinca

Contemporary jazz piece with a bit of a latin flavor.

Beautiful ambient soundscape.

Our first colab built on a piano and bass piece that Rune submitted for Colab.
"SUNDAY MORNING (REMIX With Friends)" Link to Song
Originally released by Michael as a solo effort this song had all the ingredients of a GREAT Omega Track. What is captivating about this track is the subtle genius woven into the performances. It really showcases the musical maturity of the players involved.
