Enjoy the serenity of this, kind of peruvian in a way. Very haunting, like the percussive sweep of the cymbal, flutes, chimes etc

The upbeat guitar chugga rhythm adds a terrific sound in the mix, like the flamenco runs in key places and much more.

Enjoy the way the bass weaves it's magic through out the song but the subtle percussion is very nice as well. I've been watching a bunch of Peruvian monolithic stone type videos with Christoper Dunn, David Hatcher Childress etc and this would be VERY fitting for the exciting adventures to South American lands and of course other parts of this mysterious world we live in.

Very much enjoyed!

Love the melody to this, very catchy. I am a sucker for soft delightful music like this. Like the classical feel to this as well. This is a treat for my ears Kenneth. Really enjoy music that takes me to a different time and place ! Very thorough choice of instruments and done in SUCH an inspiring way.

You've really made it a PLEASURE to come here to your page and be treated with a supremely delightful earful of ear candy!

ENJOY the easy going feel of this. Like the concept of this whole thing. This to be is an excellent example of great song writing !

I like how it is a personal understanding of the sisters vocal to really place value of how important to her that she knows what she likes and in such a macho world a song like this should have a strong standing for sticking up for the feeling of both parties.

Way to Go. Very impressed with the lyrics and the light rock deliver of the music with the acoustic guitar. Again IMPRESSED !

The percussion sounds like industrial presses stamping out the problems with what is wrong with our civilization and it is coming to get us k smiley Watch out for that human garbage, but we have to have garbage men we would be in deep do do if we didn't have them. Especially because I have a bad back smiley

I like how the bass thumps at the start like a hit rock tune. Like the afro feel to this too. Like the jungle feel were the percussion each have their say. Enjoy the guitar almost has a surf feel with the electric guitar and the triangle has the Egypt taste. A very good concept of how nice drums can be with the melody such as that electric guitar especially at the midway part. Nice industrial feel with the presses stomping and the list goes on !

Cool beats at the beginning set a great tone of the song. Like the echoing after the certain parts of the song. You have a great sense of adding lyrics that make for a great listen. Like the haunting high pitch addition. The thumping really adds, but the haunting synth.l

"Too many" great sounds in there to keep tracks of it all ! smiley

Way to Go Maurice !

That haunting high pitch synth really sets a cool theme!!!!
Blue Moon Of Kentucky by TheTiler 1 month ago
Thanks Maurice for the comment. I was in Brentwood, Tennessee a few years back. I was actually doing a tile installation job there. The owner of the house I worked in mentioned to me that Jim Reeves died in a plane crash a block away from were she lived. That was quite the monumental event at the time in the whole state of Tennessee and of course that very street.

As a young kid a adored that cross - over type music, how the Nashville music scene got a foothold in pop music. Jim Reeves was a great part of early pop - history, he was influenced by Chet Atkins because he highly encouraged him to stick with the baritone vocal range. Gentleman Jim was one of the few that actually got a bunch of hit records with that lower baritone style.

Like how it starts right out of the shoot. Nice singing, lots of variations to this music.
The variation is a pleasant influence here such as the bossa nova and mixing with a bit of arabic influence with the triangle bell. I like that addition quite a lot.

The echoing of the singing is cool too! Like the guitar picking. Lots of stuff going on with this for sure!

Sounds like a bit of work was done to achieve all this.

"For Free" (Only a link to Joni Mitchell's song) by TheTiler 3 months ago
To: Richar

I think Joni's "being there" done that conviction plus paying homage to the free playing "clarinetist". is what I found incredible. I mean who knows it might be a clarinets that is in a famous orchestra that has played Concierto de Aranjuez for a living in concert halls for a living but dreams of being a super star but that is closest thing he can become to a soloist with immediate fan recognition, is to play solo in the "dusty streets".

I know there are pro players like that at the independent musician sites.

I think to me it hits home to most dedicated icompers whether they want to admit it or not.

Joni has done what so few have ever done, But many through touring, can wreck up families and many are single when they die and never have found their soul mate. So it is a monumental price to pay for fame. But here are many that decide to go down that road. Some are lucky, like the sax player from the Chicago band, he stated that his wife stuck with him. But so many are not that fortunate.

I know my father was asked to go on the road with a pro-big band and didn't take it and stayed in his step-father's tile installation business.

Wow, great story.

I am really not a gung- ho hero. I actually joined the Navy to get out of going to Viet Nam smiley

Kind of like, I remember the words to a song "please Mr. Custer, I don't want to go smiley

But dam, what is one of the first places they sent me? Yap, Viet Nam for 358 days on land. What made it worse was that I still had 2 more years to go when I got out of Viet Nam. Actually one of the happiest days of my life is when my 4 years were up and was going home from the coast of Viet Nam and Nixon called us out. I was so happy to be lifted off a a ship and helicoptered to a air craft carrier. That was truly one of the happiest times of my life. I LOVED COUNTING OFF THOSE 100 DAYS LEFT.
"For Free" (Only a link to Joni Mitchell's song) by TheTiler 4 months ago
Ya, I kind of think that song hits home to a lot of musician and singers that are on these online independent musician websites. I mean, I think the stars know we exist I think.

But every so often somebody comes on board a musician website that actually do hit the big-time. Like Droop of Macjams. His name was Paul Davis:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Paul_Davis_(singer)

Paul had some very big hits. Like "I Go Crazy" etc. He commented on a couple of my instrumentals and I got a big kick out of that. I don't think very many knew that he was at MJ. Mungo, do you remember Droop? He passed away not long after he was on Macjams. If you don't respond, I understand. But just thought I would throw this comment out there. Maybe others heard of him?

Thanks Kenneth for stopping by!
