| This song really makes your vocal sounds pop with that Elvis era which is the reason I really got into music. Maybe the greatest era of pop music and one that catapulted the R & B's female sings into stardom. Enjoy the background a lot and it really pays tribute to your wonderful singing! Way To Go both of you! Enjoyed how those synth horns ended. Nice finishing touch indeed! |

| Enjoy the stereo sound right out the shoot. Cool how you can get high in the vocal. Lots of soul and feeling in this tune. lyrics seem to have a very important position. Your high tone in vocal really is a moving and stirring feel in this song. Cool rhythm , has that Neil Young feel. Thanks for being such a GREAT contributor to Icomp. You in my opinion have really made a great impact at this music site!!! |

I remember seeing a 60 minuets type show were they went through a house to see what was in this particular house and by the time it was all said and done with, just a handful of objects were USA. ![]() My guitar is a Santa Cruz Acoustical Guitar Om/Pw. The truck that I just bought a few months ago is a Ford 150. Not say everything I have is American, but I got to start somewhere ![]() And I am diffidently 99%. I have a Ford 4 cylinder Fusion. I even drive that on some of my small tile installation jobs. Got a an Apple G5 and an iphone. But I learned a few months ago that Apple sends some of the parts to China to asemble ![]() |

Thanks pete, but I think my theme is "Tiler makes no money at music that is why he is a tiler ![]() I lost my desire when I performed at the Coconut in Saucalito and got 1 dollar tip and I thought I played flawlessly. Didn't like performing when people were too busy talking over me. Some guitarist don't mind that. To me I would rather do tiling and just record at home. That is why I didn't like playing at weddings as well. Though I enjoyed shooting wedding videos, but it hurt my back too much because I have a bad back. I keep going back to tiling. Just can't get away from it. Harsh words but true. Just performing at the level of Tommy Emmanual would take a couple of years because you would have to be on stage month after month and very used to mass audiences. I did got a bunch of experience playing live at the Bluebird Cafe in Nashville were it was elbow to elbow crowded. But that is why I really respect Tommy E. because he is so good with the crowd. Novelty songs can help entertain crowds even if you don't have a stellar voice. I think fingerstyle guitarists can get away with that if the song is witty enough and has a fun rhythm. But again, I just can't help but really get tremendous enjoyment out of listening to sounds of Jackie Evancho! It really brought AGT up a notch., Thanks Pete |
|
| O Mia Bambbino Caro by TheTiler | 4 months ago |
| The reason I truly thing AGT is one of the very best shows on TV is because it allows more mature people on that how. Though a small crack indeed, it is better than American Idol and others by a long shot because most all the other shows even half my age wouldn't stand a chance. X factor though I don't think instrumentation is not allowed except vocal, they have unlimited age. So god bless simon for that ! They do add humor to those two shows, but I love humor as well and do novelty tunes. But hopefully there will be more TV shows that will come out. And if these major tv shows put on the great talent like icomp and macams it would be a great step in the right direction. I'll even bet they are kicking that idea around as we speak. Mass media could really get a kick out of that if they present it in the right way. Thanks lilmom ! |

| O Mia Bambbino Caro by TheTiler | 4 months ago |
| I only sent in one video through the snail mail. A few times I sent through online. I will try going through snail mail the next time. I don't think they take much seriously online. But they may have in Jackie, she was discovered online because when you sing like that at such an early age you really stand out, not very many sing like that at her age. She is indeed a rare talent. I think even Sarah Brightman was blown away when she performed with her at AGT. Thanks pharm for the post! |

| Gates Return by TheTiler | 11 months ago |
| I think what it is Donna, is that I really LOVED that movie. I loved the way it was written. I loved the actors. I thought at first oh no a cowboy movie set in modern times. I thought I may not like it. But I fell in love with the whole concept of The Last of The Dogmen movie. I am not much of a TV guy. But when something clicks in me to make me love it. I just get thrilled because I just don't rave about to many movies. There is something special in acoustical guitar that I am trying to capture that classical guitar just can't do. And maybe it has something to do with outdoors, the wild west, mountains etc. I think it is a great cultural advancement in pushing and getting the acoustical guitar more respectability. I think it is one of the greatest instruments to bring longevity to instrumental music of our era. Not saying i've done it yet. But I LOVE trying Thanks Donna, thanks for bringing in the word "enchant". I love trying to bring the enchanting sound and maybe a bit of strum to spice the enchant thang ![]() |
