 I dig it... ... it would be nice to be able to understand the vocals... but the garbled texture gives the piece a underlining ominous feel...... the explosive ending section really saves the song. In your next variation of this song, I'd recommend adding a bit more... maybe piano or strings? Not all throughout... but mixin' it up here 'n there.  |

I dig it... ... that riff's a li'l too ZZTop for me, though. lol When it comes off the main part into that low drive section, THAT I liked. The high-pitch solo sorta' took away from it... maybe if you splashed some heavy reverb 'n lowered it a li'l? 8) |

The playful nature of the song shines through... ... 'n the album pic adds to that a lot. It reminds me of Liquid Tension Experiment... which is awesome. My advice for solving the "muddy" dealy is to separate the pan of individual pieces. Sometimes keeping one to the right 'n another to the left, especially similar sounding instruments, will do the trick. All in all... I dig this tune. |
