| This is beautiful. An instant favorite. The idea behind the repeating theme reminds me of Polish composer Henryk Gorecki's Symphony #3, first movement (Symphony of Sorrowful Songs). He uses a recurring theme that builds emotionally throughout the orchestral range, starting with the contrabass and working its way higher as it progresses. Nice job! |

A wonderful epic conclusion to the saga. I've enjoyed the entire "story" that has been told. My only criticism isn't really a criticism, only that it would be great to hear this entire saga recreated in a sequencer/DAW with some nicer orchestral samples, like EWQL Symphonic Orchestra or VSL Orchestra. Or better yet, I hope someday you have this set performed by a live orchestra! Cheers! and keep up the excellent work. --TW |

Wonderful epic composition, it captures the essence of the hero's journey. I enjoyed the theme in the french horns, followed by the development in the string section. This is great piece of writing and a new favorite of mine. BTW--I also enjoy using Finale, but I mainly use it to document my work and I do most of the sequencing within Sonar using EWQL samples. You've done a great job bringing out the dynamics of the GPO samples. Bravo! |
