Needed: Strong male vocal 8 years ago
in the style of Peter Murphy, Simple Minds, Psychedelic Furs. Have a listen to the track "Shine" on my page and see if this is your cup of tea. This song is being shopped right now to some industry folks I'm lucky to know, and I'd love to showcase some fresh voice talent along with it, so if you want to be heard, let's hear ya!

The right mic? 8 years ago
On the subject of ribbon mics, there is a little-known outfit in Tucson Arizona that are doing radical things with ribbon mics. Re-ribboning old mics, making ribbons mics out of dynamics and condensers, and even developing their own ribbon mic: Pro Audio Heaven They employ one Steven Sank, son of John R. Sank the head of microphone production at RCA for the quarter century during which ALL of the innovations in ribbon mics took place. Tellin' ya, these guys know what they're doing. Also a great place to send your preamps and mics to get modded.
