Grew up with 80's Metal/Rock. Influences are many, but slathered myself in Queensryche and Stryper mixed with tons of Priest, Maiden, MSG, RIOT, Accept, Alcatrazz, Def Lep, UFO, Marvelous3, Butch Walker...you name it, I probably have it on vynl. There was a time before the METAL that The GoGo's had a grasp on me, but 2 mix tapes later labeled Rock -n- Roll Vol. I Vol. II that my brothers gave me converted me to METALISM.
Started playing the drums in school and formed a two man band with my friend, Trice (pictured). I saw the light and started playing guitar when my brother handed me his 1981 Ibanez Destroyer with a floyd rose. My friend, Trice, died in a car wreck in 1987 and his mom gave me his 1981 Hamer Special b/w graphic. The guitar is virtually untouched since 1987.
I have been playing guitar/bass in a church contemporary service since 2007 - showing up with the Destroyer bass in church is cool, not to mention a Desert Yellow 1987 RG550...It glows.
Now I hang out with a bunch of dweebs with GarageBand and have a song of the month club complete with themes like..."You love her and she doesn't know it" That theme became "Cindycation" - I think I'm in my 3rd fictional band now.
Musical Highlights: Played Vegas with these guys to throngs of adoring fans.
Play Ibanez RG550, Hamer Standard, Hamer Special, Composite Acoustics Legacy, Hamer Blitz bass, Ibanez Destroyer, but who cares cause like my older brother says: "can't play if you don't know how" I learned G2 tonight from my 8 year old nephew.

Trip "The Lights" Fandango
