| Thank You fella friends for your kind words of encouragement. I was listening to an album put out last year called Hits They Missed I heard on Patrick Hurd's (ReverbNation site)that included 10 of the songs unchosen by American Idol Songwriter. Well, I have surmised now that compared to the rejects, my song hasn't got a prayer! Not trying to be negative, just realistic. So, guess from now on I'll just write for myself and not put myself through the mental anguish anymore, lol! Also read that most all the songs picked are by people who are already in the industry in one way or another which puts unknowns at the bottom of the totem pole. It all comes back to who knows who and the little guy gets left out I guess. What a sad world... But, no worries, whatever will be will be. |
