Cool song and great singing!

Really very compelling vocal performance here that gives the song urgency and depth.

I don't usually enjoy electronica on icomp; you've really forced me to change my attitude on that.

Thank you!

This is EXCELLENT work!

yeah you call it classical.

But it COULD be a heavy metal song. It's so dark, evocative, provocative, moving....

I am diggin' this HARD!

Great musicianship. Flawless production (listening on studio head-phones).

Gonna download this and listen on my morning work-out. It's that hard.

As a fellow bass player....I bow down to your tremendous song here!

This is mind boggling good!

I was just thinking today about how I've gotta get me a fender Precision, they can have a milky silky smooth sound that you've captured.

Thank you for the excellent work!

Optimistic Strut by iG-STUDiO 3 years ago
5

When you call this song silly, you are denigrating it's importance and artistic value. I disagree with you.

This is a great jazz song! We need more optimism now, what with the collapse of our economy, wars on two fronts, the arrival of Palin, the return of new kids on the block....we've got problems! and you've brought optimism!

I absolutely dig the bass work here. This song brought a huge silly happy grin to my face, and I mean that in the best way possible.
County Line Drive w/ Steel by fatchance 3 years ago
What a beautiful song...It's so perfect.

don't worry about country not being hot here...this song is hot and real musicians and music fans couldn't care less about genres.

Of course I'm diggin the steel and rhythm guitar and drums...but I gotta respect my bass player here for his tasty playing. Laid back, fat, and perfect.

Please post more music like this...and maybe put it in the electronica category just to confuse people.

Dark Waters by ageisbell 3 years ago

Not many people talk about Ministry and Al Jourgenson anymore, so thanks for honoring their music.

Powerful song with excellent performances all around...it's hard to do a song without any real weak areas. I always look for the bass work as most people don't respect the bass...but you do. Excellent.

I'm glad I found another metal-head around here!

I agree that the vocals are a little out front and at times compete with your excellent instrumental work.

One Step Too Far by hirsch170971 3 years ago
5

This is an EXCELLENT song, but I would call it a punk song that rocks. Who cares about the category...it's great.

The lyrics and story is classic, I literally laughed out loud.

The only thing I would change is how you mixed the vocals in..The verse sounded a little out front and naked.
Scaramouch by ageisbell 3 years ago
5

Songs that "just happen" are sometimes the best.

This is a good song, I'm diggin' the metal vocals. Bass work is excellent. Composition is classic old school metal. You've added an element of suspense and fear that I think is very appropriate for this month. (halloween, not the stock market or elections, or the war, or Palin...ok, maybe it is that stuff).

Man I wish I can play piano like you.

I like this song very much.

Its very evocative...maybe of nefarious deeds committed in a distant desert or dry dusty town by a scoundrel...but he is unknowingly laying the seeds of his own destruction.

Hey man nice track!

Sounded great on my laptop speakers and now on my headphones.

Great anticipation intro and build up. The song has a middle eastern flavor that I dig! Very entrancing. I'm moved to distant places and times.

Really nice percussion work. I know you're an excellent guitar player (I've heard your stuff and am a fan)...I think it took great restraint on your part to avoid the guitar hero solo on this song. I would have enjoyed a guitar solo, but I think you're right not to put one in.

Thanks for this gem of a song!

yeah this is an excellent punk groove. I dig the guitar tones. Has an old school punk feel to it. I don't hear horns for the first part, but it's your song and would be interested in hearing it. I think with some vocals and arranging, this will be an excellent punk song!
