![]() I agree with most of the other posts..... this has a very nice groove to it. Not an easy thing to accomplish, but you have done a nice job. Keep it up. |

| Man, Vixen, so sorry bout that. I was torn between the two, and thought I would take a chance on the Aussie..... I have friends from NZ & Australia. Anyway, still think your reading was great, eh? | |

![]() Do I detect an Aussie accent? IMHO, you could read the phone book and it would sound like Shakespeare! Very nice indeed. |

| Thanks for the listen Vixen, much appreciated. And for your "Neil Young" comparison? Well, I can't tell you how many times that has been said, however, I just don't get why. I can't do the falsetto thing he does... anyway, I had the opportunity to sing this to my mom & dad, with my kids & grand kids present. There wasn't a dry eye in the place, including mine! Thanks again! | |

| I agree with geoffuk.....less work, more music. Very, very tasteful piece. Nice groove...just an overall aural pleasure. Thanks for sharing | |

![]() Let me be the first to say that I love it! The guitar tone grabbed me right up front. I love the simple, hypnotic bass groove. Production-wise, I love the phasing/panning effect...very cool! What this needs is a Satriani-esque lead to it that would just send it over the top, but heh, don't we all wish we had those kinda chops? |

| Well, there's really not much more I can add, but right out of the gate you had my mind racing! Very, very creative soundscape that could be in a film score for sure. I love the changes and it was a pleasure listening! | |
| Smiling Faces by FrankAxtell | 3 years ago |
| Your guitar work is stellar, which could be the understatement of the year! But what continually amazes me is your drum sequencing: rhythmically just amazing! Cool beans! | |
| Jam Track 10: Rock The Jungle by GoofyDawg | 3 years ago |
![]() Goofy, the mix was really muddy, and didn't come through well on my end. Other than that, being a long time Phil Keaggy fan, this reminded me of something that I could hear him noodle to in a jam setting. Rock on! |

| Alleluja - Cohen Cover by merlino | 3 years ago |
| Two things, Merlino: 1) It seems to me that the key may be too low for your daughter's vocal range. It just didn't feel as though it was in her vocal "sweet spot" if you know what I mean. As the melody went up, it just seemed as though her voice got stronger, and maybe she was projecting more. 2) I am a guitar player, and I know tone is a very subjective thing, but the rectifier kinda fuzz on the lead guitar, at least in my humble opinion, just didn't fit the tune. I would've gone with a lighter, maybe even fat, clean electric tone, or maybe better yet would've been just an acoustic guitar lead. For what it's worth. This is a tune that is lyrically powerful, and even though the melody is simple, it is hauntingly beautiful, and I commend you for giving us your version. Kudos! |

| Moondance by merlino | 3 years ago |
| Merlino, oh Merlino, I think Van would be very pleased with your genuine rendition. You kept the original groove, and yet the orchestration makes it your own. Nice sultry vocals. Smooth! I really dig the sweet tinkling on the ivories my friend. The bass groove is solid and locked in tight. Nice job. | |
| Let Go & Let God by Up211 | 3 years ago |
| Thanks Beatle for your encouraging words. Hope it helps bring some hope & perspective to your situation. Merlino: thanks for the mixing suggestions. As to producing, I'm but a neophyte. What I thinks sounds good in the mix, when it gets to iComp, somehow something's missing. Anyway, thanks again. |

| Well, so much has been said, that I could not even attempt to say anything new. All I can say is that this is my first listen to your songs, and your voice gripped me right out of the gate. Very, very fitting vocals for the lyrics. Again, superb! | |
| Enceladus Encounter by feenixx | 3 years ago |
If music is an outer expression of what's inside us, then my friend, you are one really cosmic guy! ![]() Far out, man! No really, just a very creative & sensitive way of layering sounds & textures into a soundscape that lets the spirit soar! Kudos! |

| Chillin' with Tom by KCsGROOVE | 3 years ago |
| I just love the overall groove of this piece. How it starts out mellow & smooth...stops....then takes me to another sonic level. The bass & smooth jazz piano, combined with the tasty guitar work really all combine to make this a great collaborative effort. Groovy! | |

![]() The lyrics express the typical 'buyers remorse", eh? Nice, heartfelt guitar work. I like the mix of acoustic and the tasty electric phrasing, not to mention the harmonica is right on! Sweet. |

| Riders on the Storm (Doors Cover) by PinkFreud | 3 years ago |
![]() You know, it's really tough to compete with the original. However, your rendition, I almost like it better, because it is fresh! I agree that the vocals are superb! I envision this as if the Doors were in concert today, doing a version similar to this just to give the audience a fresh spin on an old classic. Kudos! |

| Rock and Roll Ate My Baby! by PinkFreud | 3 years ago |
![]() A pile-drivin, rockin tune. Every time that snare hit, I just pictured one of those huge highway pile drivers hammerin away! I get inspired with drum grooves too, so ROCK ON! I really liked it moocho mucho! And by the way, GO PENGUINS! (I'm originally from north of Pittsburgh) |

| The simple, bare bones arrangement compliments the very sensitive and well-crafted lyrics. Love the haunting, almost moanful tone of the harmonica. Less is definitely more! | |

![]() Well Maestro, what can I really say? I just love that kickin Marshall tone, and believe me the EJ vibe is strong! There just isn't much to say other than your well of creativity runs deep my friend, and it seems to me that the more you draw from that well and share it with us, the fresher, and poignant your compositions become. I love your fusion work, but I gotta say your rock stuff is killer. Thanks for sharing your gift with us. |

| Mevsme, I know what you mean about the cheesy drum loop. I'll have to see what else I can come up with. Re: the rock version, I'm not opposed to the idea, but I just don't quite hear it yet in that way. Give me some time, and we'll see what happens! Thanks for the listen. | |

![]() You have a real killer tone there my friend! Your production is superb, and the drums sound really crisp & clean. I like being able to hear that ride. What gear are you using, ie amps, recording stuff, etc? You sure have Stevie Ray down tight! Nice job! |

| R.a.D. blues by AllenDean | 4 years ago |
![]() I really loved everything: the drums were crisp; the arrangement is fresh, and the mix seemed pretty good, too. Your playing was very tasty, as well. The only thing I would suggest doing any differently would be to go with a more old school tone on the guitar, ie Marshall-esque, tube-tone killin overdrive, or something similar. That's what I'm hearing, anyway. I enjoyed your soundscape, Allen. |

| The Farm by FrankAxtell | 4 years ago |
![]() This is just such an expressive piece; the beginning exemplifies Beck in some of the subtle nuances you throw in. I know it may border on MUZAK a bit, and not in the negative sense of that, but I found it refreshingly visual in your composition. Loved the piano. That gives the piece such a definite dynamic element, again just adding to the over all soundscape you've created. Thanks for sharing your gift with us! |

| I love just about everything on this piece. Nice dynamics; keeps me wanting the next segment. I also really like Eidos comments; very constructive comments. PS: I've been playing a Parker "Classic" Fly for 7 years now. It is one of the sweetest playing instruments out there, and the tonal versatility is awesome. Keep up the nice work. |

| Just a few comments: First regarding the Neil Young-ish vocal? Man, I can't tell you how many people have said that to me. Personally, I just don't get it, but the more people that say it, I guess there may be something to it? Oh well! Secondly, the overall chord progression was inspired after listening to Stevie Ray Vaughan's version of a Muddy Waters classic, "Close To You". Check out that tune and you'll see what I mean. Thanks for listening and for the cool comments. Check out my other tunes, and don't be scared away by the genre "Gospel/Religious". I've tried to stretch my love for rock & blues into all my compositions. Look forward to your comments. Thanks |

I don't know which I like better the tune or the photo. You look like a rock-n-roll Che Guevera! Needless to say, the tone is just incredible! I love the wah. Nice touch. Encore, Maestro! |

| Father To Son by psexnyc | 4 years ago |
| Kids are a trip, man, aren't they? For me, it's therapeutic just to put it down in words, and then to add a tune is icing on the cake! I'm kinda interested in how your son received this tune? The darkness & parental quandry you're feeling really came through in the music. Kids want to be adults, but they still need to know their boundaries. Anyway, good job. Check out my song that I wrote during a similar situation | |
| Ignition Sequence (remix) by FrankAxtell | 4 years ago |
![]() I love the feedback in the intro. A little JMH, hmmmm? So cool! Is that your Marshall? Your shredding really compliments the techno beats in this tune super well! You keep stretching yourself as a composer, trying new things, stretching the boundaries. Nice tune. |

| Jammin with Mr. C by DLB | 4 years ago |
![]() Dave, this was really sweet. Your versatility as a player is very evident. The mix came through really nice too. The only thing I would suggest, if I may be so bold, is in the middle lead where you switch to distortion, a Marshall-esque tone may compliment your lead ideas more. Maybe it's just that I love that sound, but that's me. Anyway, nice job! |
