a touch repetitious with the percussion and not enough variation of other instruments to stop the percussion being annoying. If you perhaps raise the volume of the other instruments and lower the thud it may sound a little more balanced

So what you are saying is that while Paganism was the norm in the ancient world, there was no limit to learning for anyone...it was only when Christianity took hold that people were dumbed down...sad isn't it.

Honestly, other than that I think the mix is good. I like the new background vocals in the 2nd verse, I also like the backing vocal part in the out choruses, but someone else should be singing it.

Dan

Someone else is singing it, its not me

OK...this is incredibly hard for me, as a guitarist, to say...The guitars need to come down a bit in the out choruses. Now I'm going to see my shrink!

Honestly, other than that I think the mix is good. I like the new background vocals in the 2nd verse, I also like the backing vocal part in the out choruses, but someone else should be singing it.

The song needs a 3rd verse. After the instrumental break and just before the out chouruses, the instumentation gets sparse as though a vocal should be there. The song tells a good story. A 3rd verse could wrap up the idea..resolve any hanging thoughts...does that make sense?

I hope I could turn my attention to adding another verse...life is hopefully getting back to normal...although nothing is set in concrete smiley

What Are We Fighting For? by bigdaddycee 24 days ago
HI Clay I love what you are doing with this...if I were to be picky I believe the vocal comes in a fraction late in the first verse...and where you have cut and pasted there are a couple of double breaths but I love the ethereal quality and is that you who has added male backing vox? Overall I think its going to be incredible. Thank you so much for inviting me to work on this...heh its been a long time in the coming and I apologize life has taken its toll on my work ethic
