Fine take on the theme.
Original and refreshingly different from others techno mixes of the Oh Fortuna theme, radical in comparison by replacing the big choir by an orchestra. works well for me.
I loved the piano solo in the middle - airy and to me connected to spanish influenced jazz pianists.
I did hear and liked the first version of this, but I can not pin-point the differences from memory.
Great nick name for it you came up with in the liner notes.

The song itself goes beyond me but it's a nice listening.
I like the general mix and sound.
I'm listening with cans. I feel it is richer and fuller than most of the contemporary rock mixes I've heard. That yields an extra star in your favor. Fine vocals. Cool guitar sounds. Very good distribution of parts. very tight, complex in and effortless way and no clutter. way 2 go.

Good luck with the vocals.

A nice buoyant and tricky tune. I like it.
I'm with album flaps on your progress, thanks for keeping us updated. Great guitar playing.
The syncopated chords on piano flows very nicely in the head and end.
At times it does not sit so well (time wise) in the mix at a few places, on the other hand, that can also make it sound more spontaneous, which may be a good thing for jazz.

Very nice.
I like short pieces.
Now you you chosen a dressing/genre where the norm is subjectively more say as little as possible in a very long time so this stands out. You have consistent emotion throughout though. This would we fine for a film back drop, it could even be cut, but is perfect for listening too.

Electric Cigar box G-tar.... another homebrew instrument hookup up digitally by woodguy32 1 month ago
Everything is cool here! It looks like a flatscreen monitor from around the turn of the previous century 1899-1900, ditto for the Apple computer -gearless calculating device . Have you made those too?
I heard this guy Ben Prestige which has gotten some popularity for his playing on cigar box guitars. I think his guitars are made by a guitar builder (Low) specializing on electrified cigar box guitars. He even make double neck guitars I saw one with 1 bass string with a fast movable capo on one and 3 gutar strings on the other for slide work. Like to get a refence to where I can hear your cigar box.

This is very nice. Sounds very good. Had it been 1980, you could have become rich if the right person had heard it. Now you will only collect praise, but that's good too.
I wonder if you are using compressor heavily on the mix, at points I feel it is 'pumping'. Sometimes not desired, but here it may be just the effect you are after.

Misty by SiddP 2 months ago
It's nice playing and nice sound, which is mostly in the hands.

The introduction is killer (good);both the chord voicings and the feeling is top notch.
I think you have come to a level where you find your way on yourself.

You have chosen a rubato style, which is fine, but listen to how you think the flow works best. There should be musical reasons for ritardandos, not technical reasons. But you be the judge.

There are very many guitar arrangements readily available on the internet. It's a great resource for studying. This is a good one, straight forward, but all good imo
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mjI0XyrgtCU

Incidentally I found a very enjoyable Tal Farlow +Larry Carlton concert take, not so much for the chord melody even if Tal is great in that department too

! think, as others experience, the first section is very magic, mystical and almost haunted. Had it not been for the title, which is equally fitting, I would think this was action illustrated the haunting ghost toad, I wonder if if the composer was collecting frogspawn as a kid? smiley
