![]() I think this is my favorite of the trio. I had no idea you played the trombone, and sounding very proficient with it as well. I also really love the inclusion of a violin part. It's interesting that this does have a soundtrack vibe, but it's also chill and meditative. Man...I wish I had/could play an instrument! The keyboard's been gettin' dull with me and it probably thinks the same of me. Though ironically I'm really really hoping to acquire an accordion one day...anyways, a very interesting combo here. Great music! |

![]() Yeeessss. Even with your 'subpar digital instrument palette' and other such constraints you say, this sounds really good and is very catchy. The humdrum riffraff of a steampunk world, a march of steam workers whose labor is monotonous and neverending. I think I personally would have added some reverb to give it a dark deepness, but the beat and the mechanisteam noises sort of counter that a bit. A wonderful soundtrack-like composition! |

| Soliloquy, for Piano and Saxophone by Alegoo92 | 16 days ago |
![]() Breathtaking. Absolutely breathtaking. That saxophone is ripping gashes through my heart. It's jazzy bathed in a melancholia I barely ever hear anywhere else. At least, I'm initially detecting sorrow, but I can also see it as the humdrum of life, which is sorrowful too. I'm loving the instrumentation a lot. I'm loving the point about half way in where the piano and saxophone sound as if they are fighting each other. A clash of thoughts that weave together and simmer down for the end. The breathiness of the sax at the end is lovely, symbolic, I think, of losing one's breath or willpower. Stunning and beautiful song here. Masterful work. |

| I'm seeing that all of your music is stuff recorded live from your local gigs? That is absolutely wonderful that you do that. Firstly, you have some outstanding recording equipment. And keeping the outside noises makes me feel like I'm somewhere else...it's really pleasant. You could make a great album. Maybe have some with vocals and lyrics. You do excellent work! | |
| The Despair Of Marquis by ZipZipper | 1 month ago |
| @olympus I liked the movie. I thought there were deeper meanings in it, masked by the outlandishness. It's something I'd suggest if you're open-minded and philosophically obscure. | |

...so do you sing? Would be neat to hear some vocal play. You make great little ditties that would be nice with even just a hum or la la. Maybe even expand your ditties into some solid full-length pop. Pleasant little work. ![]() |

| Excellent sounds. Crafted with an elegant precision. An ambient mood that isn't just a low background drone. It keeps to being upbeat and ever-turning. I think people who want to do ambient styles should be learning from you. Yours is a direction that isn't boring. It can cleverly stay in the background while also being something to deeply analyze by itself. Excellent work. | |

| The After Life Symphony Part 4 of 10 by JoelGoffin | 1 month ago |
![]() This series is almost too much to handle...I wish I could get started on playing with the tools and plugins you use so I could start learning. This is more driving than the previous parts, and I really enjoy that. But just to be really inspective, the series so far is very in-the-box to me; generic. I mean, it's what the people love, and I think that's all that matters with music. I'm just not so easily pleased, so I hope the next etchings evolve into something...stranger. But you are masterful at this either way. Bravo. |
|
| Snake Charmer's Waltz by bob1230 | 1 month ago |
Charming. The instrumentation is a little strange to me, in accordance to the melodies, but it fits with a snake charmer theme. It might fit more with some percussive sounds, like a low drum sting and some tambourine taps. That would probably make it more gypsy-like. Well, nice job! ![]() |

| The After Life Symphony Part 3 of 10 by JoelGoffin | 1 month ago |
![]() It seems to always be with more simple music that the greatest emotions can be envisioned and felt. I am getting extremely powerful imagery from this. Beyond most other atmospheric music of this nature. Like...wow. Someone's last moments. Whether it be to death or a simple see-you-later. This is so wonderfully melancholic. Marvelous work. |

| Excellent. I like this kind of clash between the soft piano and the vocoder effect of the voice. I really like that effect by the way. Seems a little unsettling that it ends abruptly, but I think it's understandable. It's neat how you can interpret this as either hopeless romantic or serious melancholy. Overall, short, sweet, and to the point. Beautiful work. | |

![]() Wow! Very world-like and ethereal. That wind instrument is very beautiful. Sounds like a melodica or something, but I'm probably wrong. This reminds me a little bit of the music from an old PC puzzle game called Pandora's Box and it had a lot of world music with a soft, upbeat flare, like this. Wow...I'm still kind of awed by this. So many subtle sounds all mixing together so nicely. I love this. Great work! |

| Orchestral Party Mix by PaulWilkins | 4 months ago |
| I kind of imagine someone singing lyrics over this, but standalone it is really, really cool. Man, I wish this fusion style of electronic and orchestral was more pop-music-on-the-radio type of thing, and I mean that just instrumentals. Because I, for one, appreciate good backtracks and instrumentals more than lyrical work, and this is catchy. Nice work! | |
| Marco Frydshou & La Ville - Snow On Tasmanian Cedars by MrChicago | 4 months ago |
![]() Worldly and quite epic. That vox is superb. The low steel drums adds an interesting texture. Everything just sounds so professional. I'm thinking there's many different types of styles in this piece, but they mold together so well that a passerby wouldn't even notice. Excellent work! |

![]() The opening mislead me into thinking it would be a very melancholy piece, but then it turned into more of a mystery. The unusual feeling of the humdrum. Like longing for that escape but having no idea how to leave it without damage. This is an extremely ponderous piece with strange harmonies that keep hammering their existence into the mind of the listener. I really like how it ends. Marvelous piano work here in one of my favorite time signatures. Brilliance. |

![]() Not typically what I go looking to listen to, but this is really catchy. And to think you can get the same groove as an entire band that has drum kits, leads, basses and maybe even keyboards. Goes to show that you can make fantastic music without hundreds of gadgets going on at the same time. To me it has a cool oldies feel, your smooth voice adds to that. Great music here! |

| Ahhh I love this song. What nice, soft vocals. Very different hearing this not in Bjork's uniquely harsh tone. It's flowing in its own way apart from the original, which I find interesting because her music is also extremely flowing. You managed to find a way that's different but has the same effect. Kind of glitchy like it's an industrial remix. Cool stuff. | |
| "ChocolateVille" by abzwork | 8 months ago |
![]() How very very intriguing and innovative. A combination of sounds that gives off an atmosphere much different than I've ever heard before. Beautiful live jazz feel that is perfectly interrupted by the industrial beat. The many breaks through out the piece kept me guessing. It's like a comfortable anxiety. |

![]() Absolute beauty crafted from the ravages of anger, at least that's what I'm assuming when you say you had to blow off some steam. I only wish the thought could be expanded upon more, but as is such emotion it comes and goes very quickly in some cases. Lovely string sounds and I think this would really be C minor. I mean...it's not happy sounding, but it makes me happy. |

| You've made me realize what a splendid tune this is...it's simple complexities sound more miniscule when not payed attention to carefully. | Damage by solovey | 10 months ago |
| I like this. In my opinion, I don't think the beat is necessary for the beginning part with the hardcore cello ripping. It just makes the piece go out of place since the cello sounds like it's going off on its own. But it's very creative that you utilized an almost solo cello piece to accompany a high speed car scene. A fabulous take on something that usually has a different style of music to go along with it. | |
| Dance With Your Neighbour by ben777 | 10 months ago |
![]() I really really enjoyed this. I kinda wish there was a more set beat, but the different tempos you've got going on that still hold together, especially that end one that's fast-paced, are just fantastic. The use of these samples in a sort of odd percussion is excellent and a type of style I want to strive to. And the overall quirkiness with the strong minor, sort-of piano march and the creepy laughter is so pleasing to my ear. This is not only something I really really liked but also something I'd love to do myself. Great work here! ![]() |
