| I've just come back to iComp after a few months away as a mutual acquaintance mentioned this song to me recently. Nice job, well done. | |
| Beast That Desires by Darkmuse | 3 months ago |
| The vocal sounds like Jim Kerr of Simple Minds and I'm sure this is a remake of something you've done before, but it's still good for all that. | |
| Leaving On A Jet Plane by Vixen | 6 months ago |
| You've made me feel very nostalgic. I remember the original and your version works so very well. | |
| The Subway Faces by Darkmuse | 6 months ago |
| Nice and mellow, you've done a nice job on this. | |
| Pretty Blue Car by Moey | 12 months ago |

| Could This Be Love (acoustic) by Darkmuse | 12 months ago |
| Love the vocals and the guitar is pretty good too. | |
| Depths Of Space by Oddity007 | 2 years ago |
| Very spacey and proves how versatile Reason is. I'm glad that you made this into more than a D'n'B track. I'm not so sure about the abrupt ending, I think it would have been good to slow fade with some repeating echo. I like what you've done though. | |
| Hearts & Arms Entwined by jayman | 2 years ago |
| I'm a bit slow catching up with things sometimes but this has that classic rock sound that I like so much. A brilliant song. | |
| Rainy Day Blues by pharmakeus | 2 years ago |
| I like the vintage sound you've got going on this song. Fantastic vocals Angela, your voice is sweet and powerful. Everything is just perfect. | |
| Like A Virgin (cover!) by Naaji | 2 years ago |
| I have never been a fan of Madonna and we are of a similar age (well I'm a little older than her) but your version of this song is brilliant! I think that the thumping base and background effects worked well. Nice one. | |

| Beautiful and inspiring. | |
| Earth and Heaven by soulima | 2 years ago |
| Very relaxing and peaceful, makes me think of a fantasy scene from an old film. Everything works well together. | |
| Now by ChrisWilliams | 2 years ago |
| This song has just hit the mark with me. It's very early on Sunday morning, Saturday was a really horrible cold day, and I'm just enjoying a late drink before going to bed. Your song has such an easy going laid-back quality to it (unlike the music I can hear coming through the wall from my next door neighbour's place) and it was a pleasure listening to it. Your vocals just fitted so well and I wish I had listened earlier. | |
| there is time by j0j0 | 2 years ago |
| Not many bands use violin but it works well on this song. You remind me a little of Barclay James Harvest with a smattering of String Driven Thing thrown in. You said that you aren't using this on the CD but it's certainly good enough to sell commercially. I thoroughly enjoy listening to real musicians such as you and your bandmates. | |

![]() I see that nobody else has commented yet so I will. I won't even try to make clever technical comments or give any advice because I don't think you need it. This is good, I like it & I will be listening to more of your music as the opportunity arises. |

| I can hear the Steely Dan influence LittleHooligan was referring to. I like the vocal effects you've used here & there as well. | |
| A bit of reason..... by telo12 | 3 years ago |
![]() I like it. This reminds me of some of the very old Walt Disney animated film soundtracks, don't know why, must be an age thing. |
|
| Lippedy Spit by JD | 3 years ago |
![]() I can hear a Frank Zappa influence in this. Absolutely brilliant track. |

| A good solid rock song. I'm old enough to remember when rock music was raw & gritty. This fits the bill. | |

![]() Loved everything except the abrupt ending. You said: "I am in fear of using the fadeout for reasons you all know..... : )" but I don't know. |

![]() Nice song. I can hear what lunatrik is referring to, and you should definitely do more of this sort of stuff. |
|
| Abrigaila by Audiogasm | 3 years ago |
| This is very different to anything else I've heard on iComp. The guitar reminds me of Ry Cooder - and the tracks he did on Paris, Texas. It's taken me a couple of listens, but that rythm you've got going there fits in well and I like this piece. | |
| Harp N Soul Part Doux by RubyDubidoux | 3 years ago |
| I love the blues harp, Bo Diddly/Not Fade Away type of thing you've got going with this song. Both you & Ramonaji should be signed to a record label if you're not already. This song has a lot of energy & would go down well as part of a live set. | |
| The Angel Gabriel by elfdaughter | 3 years ago |
![]() No loops this time! I don't know what EWQLSO & Magic Score 5 are, but you've done a good job using them. I have to agree with soulima about the reverb, as this is (sort of) church music, & it's proper setting would be in a cathederal. Overall, I think you've made a good job of this. |

|
| Have Fun [Archived] by Stebbo | 3 years ago |
| There's a touch of Joe Jackson in your song. The vocals could have been a bit clearer as they tend to blend into the background, but everything else sounded fine to me. I particularly liked the recurring synth melody. | |
| Hello World by telo12 | 3 years ago |
![]() Very light & quirky. I'm not really a fan of classical music but I like this. |

| [Tenori-0n]-Tenori-0n the moon by rex | 3 years ago |
![]() I've just ordered a Tenori-On through Amazon so I wanted to listen to what you had done with yours (I've seen a few videos on utube) & I've got to say that your tune is one of the best I've heard so far. Really great, keep it up. |

![]() Such a nice gentle tune. You play very well. |
|
| Born to the Rapier by elfdaughter | 6 years ago |
![]() Your singing is getting better & I still think that you should try out some sort of folk rock, Steeleye Span type of thing. I think you've used a small amount of reverb on this song & it does make a big difference. I like your lyrics, you've got talent. Keep it up. |
|
| Find Thy Spring Nuts, Squirrel by spootane | 6 years ago |
![]() With a title like that I just had to listen. I don't know whether you also play electric guitar (or even like rock music) but you could also turn this into a rock riff. Very versatile, very well played & very good. |
|
| Test Orchestra by rcn518 | 6 years ago |
![]() I definitely like this one. You've used different styles & it works well, very dramatic too. Well done. |
|
| Swids 2 by rcn518 | 6 years ago |
![]() This is pretty good. Only thing I didn't like about it was the (kettle?) drum just before the splash cymbal. Apart from that, I thought that this was excellent. Apologies if I've got the drum & cymbal parts wrong. |

|
| We Lost Joey (new guitar remix) by Justin V | 6 years ago |
![]() Bit of a 70's punk sound. Not bad but the solo was nothing special. I did like your song though. |
|
| Villain's Theme. by elfdaughter | 6 years ago |
![]() I listened to the other 3 tracks of your project so had to listen to this one as well. You've got a good ear for this type of music. Well done! |
|
| Death of the Hero by elfdaughter | 6 years ago |
![]() Another good track. You might already know, but if you want to pick up a lot of different loops reasonably cheaply, try buying Computer Music and/or Future Music magazine. I don't buy them every month, but I have built up a collection of several thousand loops over the last few years, mostly from the cover discs of these magazines. |
|
| Betrayal! (Track two) by elfdaughter | 6 years ago |
![]() Very dramatic & your mixing was good, but one slight criticism, I think you need a slightly faster fade at the end. I hope your project works out well. |
|
| Herne the Hunter (track one) by elfdaughter | 6 years ago |
![]() You've been putting in some practice. I like this track, I just wish it was a little bit longer. |

|
| Lucy in the Sky with Diamonds by Didier | 6 years ago |
![]() I see you've taken a bit of flack for this song & I'm not usually a great fan of covers, but I think you've done a good version & it is different to the original, so I give you full marks all the way. |

| The Creation by RickW | 6 years ago |
![]() This is really good. I noticed that you said you have more years behind you than in front of you (me too) but you've proved that it's possible to learn something new at any age. Good luck with the other movements & with your future projects, & stay young at heart. |

|
| Just Chill by CrispyRythms | 6 years ago |
![]() I like this better than Coke and a Smile. A little bit more variation would have improved it though. |
|
| Coke and a Smile by CrispyRythms | 6 years ago |
![]() This is ok but too much like a lot of other things to really stand out. It does need something extra to make it special, maybe a good lead synth line or something. |
|
| Chill by TheDeadHerring | 6 years ago |
![]() I like the tune but the background effects were a little too much. Did you play the piano part on this? If so, it was very good. |
|
| London (Lyrics by ONEADAY) by cjhoose | 6 years ago |
![]() I had a look at your page after you rated one of my songs & I picked this one because I 'm a Londoner. Your mum & dad taught you to play very well. The lyrics fit in well with the tune. I don't think you need to add background lyrics, this works as it is. You've made a very good song here. |
|
| Photogenic Memory (trial) by offbalance | 6 years ago |

| just a minute by alan | 6 years ago |
| Thanks for the comments ddball & Jenkins. I was thinking about adding a choir to this when I did it, maybe I'll work on it a bit more when I have the time. As for what it's about ddball, I can't answer that because it isn't about anything really. I just get a tune going through my head sometimes & take it from there. By the way, you're not a talentless person at all, I've heard some of your songs, trust me, you sing a lot better than I do. I just think you would sing better with some sort of accompaniamant (I'm sure I've spelt that wrong)as acapella is difficult to do well. Thank you both again for your comments. |

| O Epilogo da Vida by helderjsp | 6 years ago |
![]() This is ok for a film soundtrack perhaps, but too repetitive to listen to for pleasure. It seems to meander along with no real purpose. |
|
| Baby It's Cold Outside by vaporman | 6 years ago |
![]() This is a good version. We've had snow in London & it's freezing outside, so this song seemed very appropriate when I came across it. |
|
| Lost Poetry by porkonrye | 6 years ago |
![]() I liked this but the vocals were drowned by the guitar. You've done something different with a rap song which is why I've given 5 for concept. |
|
| Fatrap by alan | 6 years ago |
| It was all loops Marcel, including the rap itself. They all came from the Data Becker Monster Pack which is a collection of several loop CD's I bought from PC World a few years ago. Glad you liked the track. Alan. |
|
| Funkalicious by marcel474 | 6 years ago |
![]() Nice one & good for a first attempt. You need to bring that organ up a bit (it was panned to the left as it came through my headphones) & maybe lower the piano & percussion volume slightly. I did like this though. |
|

![]() I liked this straight off, can't say more than that. |
|
| Strut by taradice | 6 years ago |
![]() I wouldn't call this mellow, but it is very good. The bass is a bit too loud & the vocals (yours I assume) not quite loud enough, but on the whole I think you've put together a good track. |
|
| Nightfalls by taradice | 6 years ago |
![]() Nice track but I thought the vocals could have been a little louder. They were too much in the background. |

![]() Very strange track but I like it. |
|
| YELLOW RIBBON by SwingStates | 6 years ago |
![]() I listened to this knowing how much I hated the original but your lyrics are much better. This is an anti war, protest song for the 21st century I assume? I know that it's meant to be light hearted & it's good, but a bit bland. By the way, I don't think that Bush & Blair should have started the war against Iraq either. |
