Born Jersy City NJ in 1956 the same year considered as the birth of Rock-n-Roll. I've been doing music either full or part time for over 20 years. I never interned. My first session was a FULL SWING BAND HORNS and all. At this time I was stil an assistant. Head engineer never showed up. Owner says "Tom I need a little favor". After that I never looked back. Unfortunenately my promotion came at a terrible price. The head engineer had fallen asleep with a lit ciggarette...need I say More.
Started doing Dance music for Joey Gardner( Cover Girls) Tony Moran (Artist Producer). Jon Secada Mandy Moore, Redman Method Man Eric Sermon, Dave Hollister Lisa Lopez Maya Stutterin' John and onwards and upwards. Had major Heart Attack In 2003 Now I helped Found AlanaTomiC Producing and Publishing, The CUBE studio and label, first release in Nov check out CD baby and friends to buy. Enhanced CD included with music very cool. Atists Name Alana Burner. She's the Alana in AlanaTomiC. I'm trying to enjoy semi-retirement but would much rather be back Freelancing in NY City. Alana Burner, and I met in a studio 14 years ago and have been together ever since.She is the singuarly most talented person I know. A mix of "need to create" matched only by mine.We have written 30 or so songs together, some finished others in progress some juat waiting for a little magic to give it a life of it's own, we only let the music start us and then we don't stop till we drop. She has an amzing voice and can blend in with almost any type of sound or singers style.
We currently are re-building "THE CUBE" and after years of aquisitions we have an excellent set-up. But as always no time. This we hope to change in this new year of 2009 so you will be hearing from us. Thanks.
That was just updated 11-20-08. We are in a new location and as edited are re-building "The Cube". We are aiming higher this time around, so, it is taking longer. We are re-inventing AlanaTomiC or actually re-energizing it. Whichever. Together we will build the studio, make AlanaTomiC and the Cube's scope wider and are going to start doing the business of music in a new way. Publishing and releasing other artists is now part of our dream. To continue to release Alana's wonderful music and start to spread out our interests and also spread our knowledge and studio services also. Stay tuned and read the newer Blogs to keep updated.
