Thanks guys, no its all done in GB with a few effects. That swishy sound is from the lead guitar track not entirely sure what happened there.

birdmix77, I am a huge JD fan as well. As Zallaz mentioned the track has been covered a million times with a lot more liberties than I used. This is meant to be a tribute to the song with my own twist and am purposely not trying to sound like Joy Divisions's version. I think integrity of covers come from who is making them (see: pixies cover of 'head on' by the jesus and mary chain), and I hope that me being a guy in my basement with his strat and powerbook constitutes a bit of integrity. I understand your point completley of course, however, I did this cover for me.

jharley, i love your stuff. this is amazing. to me it sounds like an intro to a completely rocking song. i was waiting for it to bust out into some heavy riff but thats just me, i want everything to break out into heavy riffs. bravo.

blacklily, good call on the dead milkmen comparison. I see it for sure. This song is great. My only criticism is that the drum track kinda pounds to hard for the whole thing. Id like to hear it with a different drum track....it would be amazing, imo.
