Are those processed drums, or did you play them yourself? The acoustics on them sound great. The only thing that I would watch here is that the drums sound like they are not in the mix with everything else. It's a little distracting, but overall great song. |

| The Chord progression is haunting, The vocal tone is perfect. I almost turned it off after the first 10 seconds or so though. Needs a more interesting beginning, for me anyway. It wasn't immediately attention grabbing, but others I'm sure have more patience than I. Well done. | |

This is a great rainy day song. I love the percussion down low like that, you almost dont know that it's there. The vocals have a great "vulnerable" feel to them as well. It's going in my favorites. Of course anything that Rusty touches would. ![]() |

| That worm is wearin shades! He's having a good old time marchin through the tunnels! This is great laid back ambient electronic piece. Halfway through the song he seems to meet his buddy the mole, and they kick it in the underground. Yeah I'm pretty sure I could drink herbal tea and read the paper to this song. Well done! | |

| Captured by anitric2000 | 9 months ago |
An interesting piece. Im not really a fan of synth voices, but if they were real voices they would have been well placed and well used. Surely sounds like a soundtrack. You asked me to teach you not to be so generic. I don't feel like you are generic but I guess I can tell you what I do. The "beanpole method" if you will. Having had almost no formal training in music composition, I do most of my stuff on the fly by ear. I have in mind when I start out a general sense of what I want it to sound like. Then, I give the song the reigns and it kind of just builds itself.I don't set out to be "unusual" but using that method, my songs usually end up being a little strange. Hopefully that helps. |
