![]() This has a ZZ Top vibe, too. I like the way you varied the loops, and repetition in rock is not a bad thing. Some lyrics would definitely spike it up! |

![]() Niiizzze! A subversively silly little pop song, sweet and yet a bit twisted. I love the midi organ, too---sort of a hurdy-gurdy effect. |

![]() There are never enough songs in opposition to Dubya until he is out of power. I like the other part of your message in your notes, too: VOTE! |

| Thanks thedrum, for the thoughtful and constructive criticism. I am working on a revised version of this song, and have taken your thoughts seriously. I hope to come up with a more focused piece. This is one of the reasons I really like iCompositions; people are honest, but not cruel for the most part. It helps me to see things in my work which I might not see otherwise. Again, thanks for your suggestions, and a new version will be coming. |

![]() Bee-You-Tee-Full! I just happened upon this track while perusing the site before hitting the sack. This is downloaded and iPodded. A very inspiring effort. "Maybe we should set our sights a little more high . . . .' Good advice! |

![]() Dark, dense and driving. Fascinating in a really ominous way. I like the way the synths weave around the beats like a snake. |

| This was actually the theme music, both at the beginning titles into the first scene, and under the end credits crawl. | |

| Yes, artnuero, there's no question about the Zappa influence on this one. At one point I tried to cut that back, but when I got to the guitar solo I decided to just go for it. The Ruth Underwood thing is there too (with a taste of Dave Samuels for good measure), though at first that part started as a guitar track too. Sounds cleaner as vibes, though. | |

![]() Love it! Echoes of the Byrds with a dab of Neil Young. The guitar sounds great, and nice subtle harmonies on the chorus. |

| The movie was called "A Ghost Tale", and in it the villain menaces the hero to find a treasure hidden by a woman he has killed. The spirit of the dead woman helps the hero find the courage to fight back. The movie is still in the works, though the fiming is in the can. I hope one day to see the finished product myself. | |

![]() On this version the abrupt ending works. I love the jet plane landing as an intro, too. This really stands on its own as a piece. Very wistful, dreamy. |

![]() Very Cool! the ending is a bit abrupt, but the overall song is great. I like the clash of major/minor notes. |

![]() Great song and great lyrics. It says a lot about the nature of addiction and it's isolation. The production is a bit rough, but I think that suits this song. |

| artnuero: I found them at http://cassini.physics.uiowa.edu/space-audio/ , which has a bunch of space sounds from the University of Iowa archives. It has some things Kronos Quartet did with those sounds that are pretty awesome. Interestingly enough, when I looked back at this I realized the sounds were emissions from Saturn, so I may have to change my title. bh |

![]() Way cool! Caught this song on "Virtual Garage" and that sent me to you. This song could definitely work as a suspense/action sound track cut. The guitar work adds a real tension. |

![]() Great! Multilayed and rich sounding. The minor chords give it a darker feel, but it's overall a bright and positive sounding tune. |

![]() Way cool! Great klezmer-jazz blend, with a funk underpinning. I love the melding of different music genres to come up with a whole new sound. |
