Lovely evocative piece! GB has done well with the authentic sound of the harp and woodwinds and you have made such good use of them. The pizz. strings with piano in the opening variant I think are unnecessary and produce a kind of distorted quality. I considered eliminating this sonority, but then did not in the end. | |
