Biography
I live in Ireland with my family, lots of blackberry brambles, and a good view.
I got started in Garageband about a year update two years ago, gradually rekindling a guitar habit I'd had years ago - it's amazing what 3 kids will do for your practice time! I play a battered old Yamaha acoustic that I love, just picked up a few mandolin chords, and I recently bought a great Telecaster off of friend Tom. Occaisional harmonica and I sing, mostly. The odd few instrumental tracks.
I grew up on old rock'n'roll and blues and ska and soul and Tamla and Northern and Rockabilly and Western Swing and Punk and (eek) Pop music and Qu'walli and Folk and Rock and alt-country and The Beatles and The Stranglers and Radio Luxembourg. And Rock. (Y'know Free and Hendrix and the Bonzo Dog Do-dah Band etc
And now I'm here too.
I'm going to pop a few songs up to get some feedback and see what you think.
That was the plan anyway. Trying to involve myself was more than I had time for, and I felt I wasn't able to listen to enough of other peoples stuff via my dialup connection.
I have Broadband now so I should be able to find some space in my deleriously busy day.
Happy Halloween.
And hey if anyone has any tips for who I might want to listen to, let me know. It's a big old site, here. If anyone knows a way to download beer, drop me a link. Or wine. Yeah. Wine.

I just did the RPM Challenge. During the month of February the gig was to create from scratch a ten song CD (or 35 minutes of music) and mail it to New Hampshire, USA. An intense experience as I'm used to doing a song per week or so, this was upping the ante some.
