I am working on getting better with both, Hope to have a great deal of quality to offer on the CD.

I do really like the older sounding recordings where they just laid a track but.... it is harder to get away with that stuff these days smiley

is that the Samson on the acoustic?

if so that sounds darn good!I would love to hear it on some chords a little louder to see how the bass sounds, what the mid range does at a higher volume level but man nice playing

Railroad bum by calebhawkins 5 years ago
the sick part is that i have some really nice guitars and really nice gear for recording.... but i use the cheap crap most of the time for my own works....

got nice mics and nice software but still use the cheap stuff... for my own works....
Railroad bum by calebhawkins 5 years ago
thanks guys....

i take a rather lofi method when working on things...

a yard sale find EV mic from the 60s and a $50 guitar running into Garage Band and into the "New Nashville" preset.... then modded to death until i got the amp setting where i wanted it...

oh yeah and i recorded this in a bathroom....
