My name is Piero, I am Italian.
I am really happy to have lived the musical period between 1970 and today.
My interest in music are the new sounds.
The genres of music that I like are: the funk, sounds ethnic contaminated with electronic sounds and avant-garde jazz.
I like eccentric artists, those artists who gives me a unique sensations: all funk bands of the ’70 (Earth, Wind & Fire-Kool & The Gang-The Fatback Band-The Ohio Players-James Brown-Brass Construction-BT Express-etc.), Miles Davis, Pat Metheny, Trilok Gurtu, Weather Report, Chick Corea, Don Cherry, Jan Garbarek, Jon Hassell, Farafina, Mickey Hart with The Global Drum Project, Gabrielle Roth and the Mirror and all the best Asian and African percussionists.
