Biography
I am an amateur musician living in the San Francisco Bay Area. I mostly use my PowerBook and GarageBand to record simple, lo-fi recordings with guitar, vocals and sometimes harmonica.
I'm calling most of my music "Folk." One comment I've received suggested the music was not really folk. I guess I agree. Is "Singer/Songwriter" a music genre? If it is, then I guess that's what I'd call this music, but it's not an option on iCompositions.
Music I listen to: Wilco, Jeff Tweedy, M. Ward, Hem, Iris Dement, Whiskeytown, Alejandro Escovedo, Bonnie Prince Billy, Jayhawks, Josh Ritter, Josh Rouse, Kathleen Edwards, Lucinda Williams, Son Volt, Uncle Tupelo, Ryan Adams, Spoon, Bob Dylan, Rocky Votolado, Lucero...
I'm not too slick with GarageBand, but I have fun with it nontheless. I hope you enjoy the music.
