| This is so good. It's trippy and cool, I dig the speed, but it gets to you fast you know. Just exactly the way a funky woman does. It's for real. | |

![]() Wonderful singing, a better mic and you will be soon on the shelf of a store near everyone. Righteous singing. |

![]() The key is tone. Combine that with your fluidity and those metronome precise chops of yours and this song is rocking the iPod! There is a slight timing mismatch with the drum track (or so the obfuscians would have us to believe..) but that could be a punch-in glitch or something. There were some parts that seemed like the guitar went away forever, and I missed it greatly for those few seconds. Your guitars' voice should stay with us throughout the composition, after all, it's what we came to hear. You have a true gift, are a genuine artist, and should bring the notes from deeper within your soul as each of your phrases become songs. You can do this! P.S. It don't need no steenking vocals!!!! |

![]() I like chippy funk grooves that are anything but mainstream. Cool choice of guitar loops. I could roller skate to this! |

![]() Smooth groove, and the best thing is the way everyone was getting into it...especially me the listener. Great players. Almost a feel like one of my favorite groups from the 70's called Mandre'! I dug it even more the second time around. |

![]() Lil' sync problems in some areas seem as if the drums/beat are rushing the song along. Guitar is cool, sounds really attitudinal. The feeling from both artists compliment each other very nicely. There is almost nothing that could be changed to improve this, which means that it rocks harder than some bad girls' dream. |

![]() This is a fun song, any way you hear it. I can imagine Bill Shatner doing this version! WOOT! Bam this is great. |

![]() This is an example of composition and how the slight planning of evolving sound synthesis can become something much greater than the sum of its massive parts. I just didn't want it to end. |

![]() The bass is right on. The overall feeling of this song is great. I imagine a grouping of all of my geek friends and I strutting down the university hall as the other people are staring, and nodding in approval of our Computer (mac ONLY) Club! It is like the Computer Clubs theme song, or perhaps Victory Dance! It's cool because you could add a melody or not and it is still awesome. |

| Phantom by DigitalGreyOrchestra | 5 years ago |
![]() Part of the appeal for me is that I want the bass to move more, and my ear is waiting for it, so I keep listening more intently with each second, and the bass just sits like bedrock. I like it the way it is. Changing the bass, or adding a strong lead melody, or both could create several new songs with this as the basis. It is truly brilliant. |

![]() I agree with the others. This is really good stuff. I like sounds with no beats as an alternative to normal music styles. I wonder what was in your mind as you were performing this piece. One question. Can we get downloads? Namaste Cheese |

| SUMMER FUNK! by doddster73 | 6 years ago |
![]() The largest chunk of my favorite Funk came out of the late 70's. I dig this chill groove, mostly because it takes me back to the roots of early funk, with a touch of jazz, which is what updates it. I like the lightness and free feeling that I heard. I want to hear it again! |

![]() I liked that it had similar feel, in concept to my newest track. Early porn soundtrack is what I was going for. At first I was scoring this lower for production, but with the second lesson, I brought it back to straight up 5's for keeping it real. Great attitude. I am from the dirty souf, so I like the DS touch. If I was still spinin' in the club, this cut would be on the wheels of steel. Cool. |

![]() Preparing for a drive on the autobahn, the theme seems it would be the soundtrack for a prelude to adventure. Very smooth euro feeling sound. Add a change of key, or a bridge and make it longer for us so that we can hear it on your album!!! We all love it. |

![]() The synth part sounds a bit rushed, and I know music as a musician and radio / club DJ from the late 70's. I feel as if the second listen is when we begin to hear what this piece is saying to us. And that is to shake it don't break it (unless you are break dancin'!). I would have used more of "booty bass", low beat bottom end, but then it would not have the light feel and bouncy texture. You done it again DGO! Keep 'em coming. |

![]() There are so many cool elements to this composition. Play it soft, play it loud, it is good any way you can hear it. Life is short, and I for one feel that life is better if you take a bit of your precious time to enjoy some of the finer things. DGO has given that to us. I actually wish that it never stopped. There is a great sonic quality to this one, and an awesome feel. My taste for eletronica draws towards tunes without drums and soft bass lines, but this tune has so much going on. The bass line is actually the strongest element, and it gives an ambience that is ever changing and very interesting. Thankfully, not mainstream, this fresh approach to chilly tripping is destined to become a classic. It is my first "favorite pick off of iComp. DGO, You got it goin' on bro. |

| gavino, Thanks for the comment. Not to defend my music, but... I was noodling around on the guitar, just thinking about some Stevie Ray Vaughn, and getting an idea about a backing track in the Texas, rock-a-billy sort of style. SRV does a shuffle beat kind of thing that is reminiscently reproduced by my playing, as in, I gave an attempt to play something new in the SRV style. He is known for his unorthodox style of pulling, and scrubbing on the strings and hammering on his guitar mercilessly. I have looped some drums, and wanted to add bass, but had sync problems in GB, so gave up. I will probably cut a new track with a lead track, and now have an analog bass guitar with which to play a bass track live. it may take a bit of time, but please give it a listen and again, post your comments. I really appreciate it. I agree with the lazy ending thing. I was listening for the ending, and didn't work out something suitable. It gets better, wait and see... | |

![]() At first, I expected something extremely chilled, as in, no beats. It has more happening than what first meets the ear, and there is a lot of cool style to be heard. I dig the vibe. Give us more. Your talent with compostition is very interesting. Your cover art is nearly as good as your music, and that's saying a lot. It is all cool. Would love to hear you try something even more down tempo. |

![]() With a feel as if there was something forced about this piece, I can not tell if it has a deliberate feel of need for something further. It seems slightly dark which is delightful to listen to on a rainy day while multitasking on the iMac.... |

![]() I liked it very well overall, but was surprised by the change from the intro. I expected it to be more of a sleep pattern type song, and was hoping it would be, but it turned into something really nice as well. loved the theme, especially near the end. I would like to hear a song from you, that stays much like the intro for the entire song. The tune is rather catchy and could be used in commercial or mainstream production work. Great potential. Keep on playing. |

![]() I really enjoyed the melody, and some of the unique guitar parts, BUT ... the singing was very off key. It seemed as if there was a pitch shifter modulating the vocals back and forth across what wold be in tune with the music. Other than the dreadful inability for the vocals to find something close to the right pitch, this has a lot of potential and shows clear and much needed creativity. Too much noodling around on the guitar after the song ends. It is better to leave people wanting to hear more than to play one note too many and "over state" your case. PLEASE do not be discouraged by this. I hope we all get to hear many more great pieces of music from you!!! |

| The Rat Savage by C.I.A | 7 years ago |
![]() Love the sonic ideas of this track, but unsure about the pauses of perhaps too long, though meter is not disrupted by them. Probably the kind of song that can make you fall in love with it by the third listen, and hate it by the three thousandth. -1 creativity for fading out on the ending, even though it seemed to go with the piece a bit. There is nothing wrong with a song that sings with a basso voice... great concept, perhaps an air beat background that plays a "question and answer" game with the bass voice to fill some of the spacious void of dead-air would keep the attention deficits amongst us from losing interest during the pauses. Just MHO, advice is like....... |
