| I have to also add, I was a 7th grader on 9/11/01, in an english class, and at the end of the class, the teacher turned on the tv and it said on the screen on CNN, "America Under Attack", that brought me into confusion and emotionally effected me when I saw that... | |
| 9/11/01 by Balok | 2 years ago |
![]() A very emotional and moving piece, it gave me shivers down my spine, and a tear in my eye. If a symphony orchestra or any group could play it, then it would be a very memorable experience. Bravo! Balok. |

![]() I dont see anything Technically wrong, except for the white noise, otherwise it sounds great. it only needs some noise reduction from what I see... Shucks that I cannot deriv this...I had a version of it that I cleaned up, and Ideas to throw in a viola melody in...... |

![]() I like it, it has that country/rock like format, sort of like dueling gutairs, but without the bloodshed, more like peaceful duling, if there was such a thing . Keep up the good work! |
|
| Clayton (Live) by sideburnsbob | 2 years ago |
![]() Excellent vocals, though I have never heard the original version, this is a excellent work, especially with the reverb like thing with the vocals, probilby from the fact that is live, gives it that "touch" that makes it even more memorable. |

| While My Guitar Ungently Weeps by RiGee | 2 years ago |
![]() yea it is something crazy, in the beginning it sounded like a cross between a viola and a cello, trying to play rock . This is neat, it has a jazzy feel with the rock gutair, and yet it does have the elements of blues, very talented gutar playing as well....instead of weeping, im smileing . |

![]() I like the instrumental part, and the base. But for some reason the vocals seem to at some parts loose sync with the music, and go into a kind of a monotone like thing, but that only happens once or twice. Overall for a first collab with a distance of 4500km, it is good, it only needs a few tweaks... |

![]() In my opinion it sounds more like funk, but thats just me. As well as welcome to iCompostions, and as well it is a great start in GB. I've been here for awhile, and only today I actually got to make something in GB http://www.icompositions.com/music/song.php?sid=43792 So we have both steped into using the great program of GB. Hope you enjoy the community here as well, it is also very diverse, and very helpful and nice. |

| Femme Fatale by sideburnsbob | 2 years ago |
![]() For only being 2 seconds, its still a nice cue like intro, though I would of had the sax and the piano hold on a tad longer and fade away. Then again I do not relaly know how it fits into your film, but from the description, that would make it all the better. Keep up the good work! |

| The Loneliness of the Rush Hour Driver by Balok | 2 years ago |

|
| The Loneliness of the Rush Hour Driver by Balok | 2 years ago |
![]() Your vocals for being the first time are very good, though the only thing I would comment, is trying to bring up the vocal a little more out, because its covered by the banjo, and all the other instruments. Besides that, you sing well, keep up the good work. |

| Guitar/Bolero by TheTiler | 2 years ago |
![]() I think it actually sounds better on the gutair than playing it on the violin/viola....mainly because of the fact that you can play the counter melody at the same time . Your playing of it on the gutair makes a simple piece sound alot more complex, wonderful piece of work. |

![]() you want a beating....here it is! Just Kidding...why would a beat you up on this great song, as well as the fact that you have a great singing voice. The lyrics I don't quite understand, but that doesnt really matter. Anyway, it is a very unique piece, and I like it. Im downloading this! |
|
| Bedside Capers by sideburnsbob | 2 years ago |

|
| Léopold by yole | 2 years ago |
![]() I like the piece, though beacuse the descirption was in French (Qubec?), I had to do a Babel Fish translation: "the partition arrives before long.... arrangement is not super either but I do not have bcp time it is time if.... it were all the time that I had hello!" Its not a good translation...anyway I like what ever it is exactly...keep up the good work. P.S. for your first recording of playing the Violin, you sound very good, with a very good tone, must of taken some time to get used to the small spaceing of the Violin, than the Viola, personally I prefer the Viola, its deep tone that it can produce, just seems more of what I like, over the high pitches of the Violin... |
|
| bored (gone fishin') by ponkey | 2 years ago |
![]() I like the beat mixed with the gutair, it just seems to mesh well. The lyrics....may need a tad more spice to it, because it has a hint of blandness, though you sing well. Also the ending seems to end too suddenly. What I really like is the insrumental part meshed with the beat, though.... |
|
| The Second Time by Baboon | 2 years ago |
![]() I like the whole mix with the piano and the beat, the simplicity with that and the vocal thrown on top of this, makes it unique. Every one of your collaborations Baboons, is a unique combination of minds, and each one seems to be unique. Keep up the good work. |

| Serenade for Strings - III. Scherzo by compuguy1088 | 2 years ago |
| Bob6singer, the recording is of the Lake Braddock Symphony Orchestra, from a couple of years ago, before I auditioned into it this year. I put it up awhile back when I ran into something similar here. As for the life of Antoin Dvorak, I don't really know details, though I know off the top of my head that he liked the sound of the Viola as well as played one, and incorporated many Viola melodies in his compositions. | |
| Greensleeves "Mediaevalis" by violinist | 2 years ago |
![]() A very interesting take on Greensleaves, it practically sounds like a new piece. Brings in some new light, though I enjoyed playing the original version. It would be neat to hear this arrangement, in a stringed instrument version, viola or violin.... |

| electric guitar vs russian violon by yole | 2 years ago |

|
| pirates of the caribbean by yole | 2 years ago |
![]() The drum loops, I originally thought didn't work, but actually mesh very well. You are, for the third time, a VERY good Violist, and I've only heard probibly one other person in my orchestra that may be slightly better. Anyway, again you have good tone, as well as intonation. Actually 2 years ago, I played in my orchestra an orchestrated version of Pirates of the Carabbean, and it was a good arrangement, as well as including percussion. |
|
| russian viola by yole | 2 years ago |
![]() The audo editing is great, it really sounds like its a duet. You are a very talented Violist, with a, from what I can tell, have a good tone, as well as great intonation, it must of took you some time to get that up to speed. There is a little white noise in the background, and I recommend that you try getting a condnensor microphone to increase it, as well as possibly trying ot filter it out. Otherwise, terriffic playing. Keep up the good work! |
|
| j.s bach 2 by yole | 2 years ago |
![]() Impressive, very good intonation, interesting how you mix a melody that seems clasical, and then dub it with a good beat to it. It is a tad short, but overall is neat. Out of curiosity, as I also play the Viola, what piece did you use to add to this? Anyway, I'm definatly downloading this, keep up the good work. |

|
| Marche Militaire by compuguy1088 | 2 years ago |
| Yea, when I recorded it, I did make some mistakes. But the point of it originally was to just see if everything was working with my microphone and such... Oh and Yole, I do not actually play the Violin, though I could if I wanted to. There is just less competetion with playing the Viola, and anyway I love the deep tones it can produce....I try to practice often, more during the school year, not as much in the summer, though I will be probibly recording the Viola part one from the Brandenburg Concerto No.6 If I see it fit to be uploaded... |

| Serenade for Strings - II.Tempo di Valse by compuguy1088 | 2 years ago |
| This is a recording from the Winter Concert in 03' that I heard, it was performed by the Lake Braddock Symphony Orchestra, which I am in now. When this was recorded I was in String Ensemble, but when I heard this, years ago, I was motivated to push my way and strive towards getting into Symphony, which I did this year. I dont know dave how many tracks there were, but it was professionally recorded, and every concert we do mostly is professionally recorded. | |
| A Little More High by Baboon | 2 years ago |
![]() I love this song! its very close to professional VERY CLOSE. The singers, are excellent, the lead singer really should of been, now I don't watch the show ususally, but I think he should of been on American Idol, because of his very strong, rich voice, which beats, in my opinion, every one else that I saw on that show. Keep up the good work! |
