| Ideally I'd love to collaborate with a film student who needs to build his/her portfolio and let him/her do what they are skilled while I do what I'm skilled at. Some of the Orchestrations I've uploaded here are the following http://www.icompositions.com/music/song.php?sid=100421 http://www.icompositions.com/music/song.php?sid=169960 http://www.icompositions.com/music/song.php?sid=100420 http://www.icompositions.com/music/song.php?sid=100581 http://www.icompositions.com/music/song.php?sid=100474 It is probably not my strong suit, but it's fun none the less. |

| I'm pretty sure my 111 plays is not devaluing anyone's video. I actually have found my music on someone's home video and when I considered it's use and his limited audience I took it as a compliment and felt no need to do anything about a YouTube video of 50 odd views. Most of us here on iComposition are just small time artists sharing with each other. Although this is a cool site for people who make music, most people do not even know of it's existence, Even narrower than that is my chosen genre, which even though I like it, most do not. Believe me if tomorrow, somehow freakishly, I landed a CD deal, I would delete all my my videos I have posted here. In this fantasy world I would look for someone like yourself to produce a video for me. Unfortunately I am awake now and realize that I am playing to an small audience of people who want me to be their audience as well. The comments I was hoping to get here were comments like "I think you should get to your chorus a lot sooner" or "You should use a bit more compression." perhaps even "Good job" The video for me is something I appreciate but is not the reason why most of us are here. Maybe you should look into seeing if there is a iFilm site or somthing like it. |

| You are always so kind. This short little improvisation came to me after much self loathing due to having difficulty recording another piece I was working on. Knowing I never get anywhere in that emotional state, I decided to calm myself down and play a serene scene in my head. It's only 1:45 seconds long but I think it could be expanded. It is always nice to hear from you. Don |

| It was stock footage and not a family movie. Certainly not the kind of footage sickos are interested in (showing skin, bathing suit etc) . Thanks for your concern but I have to disagree. under the circumstances. | |

| Thank you Moses. I hope I'm not falsely representing myself piggybacking on someone else's video work. I would of course never sell this as a product. | |

Hi TvRicky, Love the input, but as far as the video I found it through Google Video search. I actually have no talent in this area ![]() |

| Hi Fuzzynormal, Thanks for the pointers but I actually just grabbed this by searching Google Video. I have no camera talent whatsoever and if you had seen video from me you would have asked if the camera guy is mentally challenged. I just have fun finding video for my songs. Maybe one day I'll find someone to collaborate with. | |

| Every one of you are so very kind. As a self taught musician who keeps thinking someday they're going to find out I'm a fraud, I am truly humbled by all of your comments. | |

| Goodbye by crazykeyman | 1 year ago |
| I apologize for the lack of information on this song. Due to financial difficulties I had to sell my Steinway. A painful move but the right one none the less. This song was written the day the piano movers came for my Steinway, but I didn't want the song to be about that for others listening to it. So I got this idea about using multiple pictures of different kinds of goodbye. I went through Google's image and did a bunch of searches until I found the pictures I wanted and then loaded the pictures and music into iMovie. | |

| I agree with your comments unfortunately it was a time when I was dependent on others for recording. I'm thinking about doing over again my original idea had a cello part bringing it more bottom. Reading your comments remind me of the many frustrations of not being in control. Those frustrations had a positive effect for it caused me to get my own equipment. | |

Love the textures and I could picture you getting lost on the piano with this. I do mean lost in a good way. I would buy the CD based on what I've heard of your music so far. |

| Lazy Afternoon (improv) by kassia | 3 years ago |
| I love this tune. It's made me want to post my own lazy day song entitled "Rainy Day". It's funny but it is my improvisation song as well. In fact I've only played it once and that was after I hit record. I'm sorry to go on about myself when this is comments for you. It's just you remind me of myself so much I think we may be kindred spirits at least on a musical level. I too have trouble with naming the genre my music belongs to. What ever genre that is I bet we're both in the same category. | |
| Among The Trees by kassia | 3 years ago |
| This is Wonderful. You took us up with you. I love music that sounds like the story it's trying to tell. The lower strings made me imagine being elevated at tree top level. The piano to me was that journey through the tree tops. You are very good at this you should be proud. | |

| I love it!!! Very beautiful.. This sounds like something for the big screen. Compositionally it's perfect. The only thing that would make it better would be $$$. I know I try to get by on what I have as well. I wish we all could afford Vienna Symphonic Library Symphonic Cube. Could you imagine this piece done with an actual Orchestra? Goose bumps. | |

![]() Great voice and good musical ideas. Some have said that you had pitch problems in the lower register. This actually is not true but I understand why they thought it. You chose to start with the bass harmony which is the least melodic of the harmonies. That's why when you mix you always lower the bass and harmonies making the most out of the common tones. Your pitch was right on but it was very gutsy starting with the bass. One way around this might be to alter the bass part just at the beginning when it is alone and exposed just make it a bit more melodic. Then as soon as the other parts come in return to the original bass part. Just an idea. Very nice voice. I wish I had voice like that to play around with on vocal arrangements. Unfortunately I have to hire someone like you to get the job done. |
