this is absolutely the best track i have heard on this site for months. the music is great, and to your credit you have inventive lyrics and vocals that are very apt. add in the excellent mix, the creativity that doesn't let up, and there is one awesome track. i need to know more about abelton live. not to mention gossamertread. |

| Candor- I appreciate your comments. honestly, i don't come across criticisms like this on iComp very often... your honesty is in need here. just for clarifications' sake, i listen to every mix I do on 1) my computers' headphones 2) my computers' speakers 3) my little Phillips boom box 4) my car stereo and 5) my iPod before posting it. Granted, I am not the best mixer in the world. I do, however, generally consider my audio engineering skills above par on an amateur (which is what I am proud to be) course. I have listened to this at least 8 times since you posted this comment. I do take the criticisms very seriously, and I would encourage a re-listen on your part on a different set of monitors or speakers or headphones. Glad you thought my droning on the distorted MIDI was like a wasp. I am the stepped-on hive. I hated to f-up intnitelungcapacitys' song so much, but I cannot record vocals onto any track that I have not personally f'ed with. I ended that sentence with a preposition. Dig it? One more flaw, you know? Well, anyway, everyone is entitled to their BAD MIx DAY, and that might have been mine. I'm struggling at the moment, honestly. Not really real life things, just more of the MUSEs' B/S. ILCs' song was great, I am sorry I didn't do it justice as far as you are concerned. Give me a more detailed list of probs with the mix and I would be happy to correct and send you a version. (PS I am grateful for your comment.) |

I asked permission, but I couldn't wait. It was compulsive. But, hopefully, you take that as an expression of how cool I thought this tune was. Apologies in advance for molesting it the way I did. definitely a cool song. for some reason, i'm thinking depeche mode... i got vibes of suffering, and i like the synth music very much. one caveat, post some lyrics, the vocals are clear and very well-recorded, but i like to read along as the song progresses. you guys do a damned good job. i always had this suspicion that this site was missing some really angry, well-written music, but that's no longer the case. i can definitely see some Marilyn Manson in there, totally dig it. how do you record a whole band to Acid? I had Acid 3.0 and Acid Pro for a while. Great programs, but I'm only one person, I can't imagine using it to do a whole band. you should post lyrics too! I don't know about other listeners, but I always like to read-along with the song. Thanks for the music, it is good to hear some quality metal on this site! |

dang, this is a really cool song. I wish the quality were a little better because the mix sounds a little "crowded," but this really got me moving. the beat and the layered vocals at the beginning are really in sync... i don't know the word I'm looking for, but altogether this is really a ******* concept, very well-performed. |
