I'm guessing it's 'The Eagles'.
No?
Just messing.
Great song, though!

Nothing wrong with short and sweet. Two of my favourite words - after 'plinth' and 'euphomium' that is. Keep loopin' dude. Lovely stuff.

Insanely good!
BOWLING ALLEY by wal4u 2 years ago
I'm tempted to say that I'm 'bowled over' by this but that would be too obvious. This is funny, sassy and beautiful. Strike!
My Love by MattFrance 2 years ago
I've enjoyed the pleasure of family gatherings in country cottages with roaring fires, happily playing children and shared acoustic music with you Matt. And this song summons up those simple delights in abundance. This is real music. Real warmth. Real nostalgia. Songs like this transcend mere music and become something more important. Wonderful.

There is a distinct lack of wrongness about this track. In other words, it's perfectly, beautifully RIGHT.
Gooey mess of Goodness by cuddlylycanthrope 2 years ago
And the prize for the best song title on iComp goes to.......(drum roll) 'Gooey Mess Of Goodness". Inspired title for an inspired slice of joyous and funky loopage.

You sure you're 20? Check your birth certificate, mate. I think there's been a typo. This sounds like the mature, world-weary tones of someone older. Oh, and it's wonderful.
Chapter One by sideburnsbob 2 years ago
Top stuff, Robert. Love it. If you're ever playing approx. 60 miles due south, let me know, buddy.
Regret by sideburnsbob 2 years ago
Amen brother Bob! With you there. This is a lovely song and actually suits its 'homespun' quality. I wish I'd been this accomplished at age 20 and after only 2 years of playing.
Lost in the moment by MattFrance 2 years ago
Welcome on board, Matt. The song sounds great. And I can imagine it sounding amazing when properly recorded and produced. Can't wait to hear your other songs!

UPDATE!
Ok, I've listened to this more and downloaded it. It gets better and better. This is a VERY,VERY GOOD SONG. Get yourself a good mic, Matt then gen up on GarageBand and record this properly - it will be a killer!

scissorman...XTC cover.. my Fav band... by woodguy32 2 years ago
Us XTC fans are a rare and dying breed. I have every album, single, rarity and bootleg by Swindon's finest. The biggest single creative inspiration in my musical life. AND THIS COVER IS GREAT!!! Really great. Andy Partridge would love this, I'm sure.

Running on Sunshine (Cruizin' Mix) by dame64 2 years ago
Thanks for the comments, guys. Yes, jasper, probably a little too repetitive. And Julian, it actually did have singing all the way through so I might put that back in to see what you think. And I'll overlook the Bee Gees reference!!!!!!

Thanks again!!

Q. What's the best kind of music you can ever discover?
A. Stuff that's totally uncatagorisable YET brilliant.

You don't often find it. But I have now. Didier's right: no words to describe how good this is.

A million 'thank yous' to Neumuzik for taking the time and effort to re-work one of my songs. I love it.
I Hear Your Voice On Broadway by dame64 2 years ago
First time anyone's every accused me of looking like Jose Morinho. But if you're gonna look like anyone then a suave, stylish, successful and wealthy football manager isn't a bad start. As a born and bred Man Utd fan I should resent the comparison..... but I don't. And thanks for the nice song comments, Cruz.

Thanks Pete!
Tim and I are old musical friends and have had the pleasure of playing in various bands together over the years. We live close by to each other and Tim is good enough to help me with my tunes from time to time. He's the consumate musician while I'm just the guitar hack.

I'm now waxing my board, revvin' my VW campervan and headin' for the surf! This is the ultimate mood music. As long as you're in the mood for fun, sun and little else! And there's a healthy twist of tongue-in-cheek humour and irony in there with those vibrant guitars! Great!! The tSUNAMIS are wet AND wonderful!!!!
