@irok it's okay mate I figured it all out smiley I've already done the bass and it sounds good smiley

What did you use for the guitars and drums? If you have a drum midi and/or raw unprocessed DI's of the guitar I could beef this right up. It's such a gnarly tune. I'm really into it smiley

Would love to put some bass on this man, and prolly some vocals too. I'll work on this when I have time, if that's okay?

Ps. Could I have some details like BPM and key or chords? smiley

choice chords.

I'd love to add some delay guitar noodling to this smiley

When you say REAL drums does that rule out a decent drum software such as superior drummer? If not I could try that too. Maybe even some bass.

@pharmakeus many thanks, mate smiley I have become very anal about precision and timing here, definitely taken the time to make things tighter.

I have not, do you think @albumflaps would be up for it. I am really trying to break new ground on this album. I still have a lot of material and I really would like some shred on it smiley

this really does have a lot of potential. It was a damn fine listen just as it is. Great lyrics and choice guitar riffage. Drums work well too.

Here's some stuff I would like to hear in the production if you rework this:-

Guitars to be close miked and/or recorded through an amp sim and double-tracked panned 100% L and 100% R, will bring them out and make them sound even more kick-***.
Bass guitar, if there isn't already and I'm just missing it.
Stronger vocal (as Vixen already said)

Don't sweat it though, I realy like this as it is, too!

Nicely done smiley I'm still very fond of synthesizer music and have been dabbling with synth textures a lot more recently since getting Absynth 5.

This is a very unique piece in its own right. I can't compare it to anything in my record collection.

[Wilderness] 13 Terdberglr (Demo Version) by darkhatred 1 year ago
Thanks for the comment Eido smiley I'm not entirely happy with the guitar on this myself, not just cause I think the tone is too scooped but the playing is not as tight as I wanted, I wanted it to be really chuggy in the palm-muted parts!

I think I'll try and redo the guitars on this when I get a moment, using Amplitube 3 as opposed to the Zoom G2.
[Wilderness] 05 Taurus by darkhatred 1 year ago
thanks Eido smiley Just me experimenting with my sound as ever but I think I will keeping going back to my Extreme S1 Stack setting if you say you like this tone. As ever your comments mean much to me and certainly guide me in the direction I will take.

I am looking at the follow up to the Nightmare album at the moment and I'm not entirely sure if these tracks will make it on. At the moment the working title of the new CD is Wilderness as it's gonna be more experimental and not focus on one concept as Nightmare did.
