As someone who worked with the Jefferson Airplane and Grace Slick I can definitely attest that the sounds are similar. I'd like to hear another sequel to this one which is based on some of the energy and vocal challenge of "Don't you want someone to Love", somthing with lots of fire. There is great sadness in someones passing, but in the end, there is no end...I believe our spirit moves to the next dimension to learn and grow toward ever greater perfection. Our earthly concerns (symbolized by the siren) fall away and we drift toward the highest light our spirit feels comfortable in. Some will say that this belief is what we like to believe to come to grips with our own mortality. I'd really like to hear this more fleshed out with some good lyrics and a fine female singer....If you could get Mystified to sing on this with good lyrics you'd have a real masterpiece. Guitars could be alittle more in the forground and mixed more prominently...If vocals were a tad lower you'd really sound like Jim Morrison, thats a good thing!....You might try the lower vocals in GB, slightly, and add some reverb.
