| Thanks a lot for the kind words! Elmira is such a sad town for me... it used to be a bustling, thriving small city until various manufacturers left... now the main industry is the prison on the hill, which is next to the Civil War-Era cemetary, in which Mark Twain is buried. It's hard to see a town dying. Hopefully it can make its way back. |

 This song is terrific, John. I see the Steve Goodman thing in here referenced earlier. It's so nice to hear totally raw, "real" music - something about a guy (or woman) and a guitar that conjures up memories of sitting on the grass listening to folks trade songs. The lyrics, well, what hasn't been said? Totally relateable. Love it, downloading it - in fact, I'm gonna listen again right now! Cheers! |

Sounds great, John! I really like the guitar work here. I really like the way your voice sounds on this one. The whole mystical, almost ethereal feel reminds me of that middle-of-the night sort of quiet, surreal sensation one gets when walking nearly empty city streets.
