| VERY cool! My old band did a double time, kind of Teenage Fanclub version of this song. We thought it was so cool, and then after like a week or two we hated it. Weird. BUT this is cool. Captures the real emotion of the song. You add a little sugar, but not to much. Very cool. | |

| Great cover. Cool song choice. Personally (and I'm the LAST person to take mixing advice from), but I happen to love how the vox sit in this. The soundbed and choice of song are begging for a vocal that sits back. It needs that "what?" quality. Loving the guitar sound. |

| This is great. I think digging old songs from the box is a great idea. Sure the sound quality isn't the same as what can be picked up now, but the sound gives this song more personality. Certain genres lend themselves to lo-fi recording extremely well and this is it. Also, I'm not a stickler for production because it's something I don't yet have the ear for. I pay more attention to the crafting of the tune itself and this is a great song. Great post! |
