Phishin' with Bob (cover/medley) by RadioRebelde 4 years ago
Just fuse this track with a little tease of Hendrix's bold as love transposed a bit. Its got the same chord progression as no woman no cry in a different key. They'd all go together.

Good work on this piece by the way

love the groove that you got goin, all thats missing is a lead part to spice it up a little, either guitar, more synth, or the obvious introduction of vocals.

but eitherway i loved it

Great Job! I'm a huge Zep fan, I was excited to see this on iComp. I agree it was a bold attempt and you succeeded brilliantlly. Strong vocals, strong guitar playing... me likes! Keep on rockin'!

I'm still loving your stuff man. Awesome. Love the intro, sounds very... trippy? I don't know really but either way I think it is sweet. Bonus points for not using any loops.

longshot I just cannot stop loving your stuff, that sitar sound is awesome. I got to agree with theGranz that I was a little sceptical as the song kicked off, but it had me good before it was over. I like the congo drum solo stuff that is awesome. Keep up the good work, be it loop work like this or just jams like the druthers stuff.

Stellar, guys, totally a five star song. I love the vocals and the lyrics, and the soloing is awesome, too. I love the minimalism that runs throughout a lot of the song it is really cool, even though it is a little to mainstream for what I am usually into (however, nobody mainstream ever rocks solos like that, those are way old school, I love them).

Dude, I totally love this, and the whole series really. Your drummer is really ******* (not to say that the rest of you guys aren't *******, too). Truely righteous, and rock ON!!!

Haha, nice. Mexican Wine, eh? Love the guitar, especially the intro part that is distorted, that was awesome.

Just like your other Satriani cover, your accuracy is just brilliant, it is so exact. I totally love your stuff, so just "keep on rocking in the free world!"

Beavis and Butthead crack me up. Cool stuff. I am sure that your boss loves you messing with obscene cartoons and music and mixing and all that while you are at work.

Nice vocals, I really like that singing voice. The lyrics are really cool, too. Great cover. Great job, even though it is a little too hard rock for me.

Ronnie you totally rock. Those riffs are beautiful, just beautiful. So is the soloing. You really are a righteous guitar player, and it is just altogether a great mix of sounds. I like the faded distorted talking and such about a minute in, that is really cool. It reminds me of something vaguely like Vai or Malmsteen.

Dude, you got some crazy guitar skills. As a fellow guitarist, I can tell you one thing... You kick my A$$! You choose a great song to cover, too, Satriani is awesome. This is totally Five Stars all the way down the list.

Man, I like it. Love the lyrics, really great. Just keep it up, like FE said, I really dig it.

Man i cant get over that awesome drumming. I do think this is the best so far, an I wouldn't doubt part Five to be even more stellar. I still think that the guitar is a little too quiet at parts, but no matter, it still rocks.

Oh and you are right, the only way to rock is from the soul, from the heart.
orkjuice part III by longshot 6 years ago

Dude the drumming is totally sweet. The guitar probably should have been turned up a little more, but I still love it. It really is a shame that Druthers did't go big... I know I would by the cds. Totally righteous, just like the others.

P.S. The end is awesome I love it.

Stellar intro, I love it, and like i said about part I, I totally love it even more knowning that it is improv. I love the drum beat with the heavy base drum. I am sure that the next parts will be just as good, if not better.

By the way, I am only rating down the production because of the quality issue, but I know that you are doing the best you can on it, and it is not a biggy.

Dude, I'm loving it. The dark, sorta creepy sounding guitar is totally rocking, and the fact that it is improv makes me admire it even more. Definitely a favorite, and I am anxious to here the next four parts.

P.S. Your drummer is totally rocking!

Longshot, dude, I totally get your stuff it is really sweet. I like your style, and you got some good still with composing stuff, although I will admit that this song seemed a little repetive for the first third of the song or so... but then it started to really jam out which totally made up for it.

Dude... what the heck is with the monkey thing. You are not the AlbinoBlackMonkey. That would be cool looking though. Anyway, I agree that it isnt your best, but it is still pretty cool. 4's down the line.

Nice. Righteous interlude, unexpected. You totally deserved the keyboard. And you got it. Which is even more stellar. I totally agree, you got to keep rocking out with productions. And maybe you could even try some rock for once! lol jk smiley, but I do think that you could do some sweet stuff with a few killer electric guitar riffs.

I like the laid-backiessness... or whatever. Cool stuff, i agree it would be sweet background music. Or cop show music. That works, too.

Nice one, Sheepy, you never told me about this own. You always think I am gonna hate your stuff. Even though it might not fit my specific tastes in music, i still appreciate it for the way it rocks. Totally sweet.

Haha, nice one Matt. You know me! But I don't even think I helped on this one. lol. Oh, well, he can use my name sometimes... sometimes... jk I'm just messing around with you Sheepy, but nice job.

Hey, Sheep, man. I remember when we did this. It really was pretty awesome, even though it is all hiphop like, it is still cool, and even though the scratching might be slightly over kill.

In the words of Peter Griffin, "Freakin Sweet".

This totally gives me a vision of some rocking surfer dudes like Spicoli from Fast Times at Ridgemont high. Reminds me of Hawaii Five-O, but any kind of surf rock does that. Also, Rick really does have righteous vocals.

Wow, this is really cool. It's my kind of music, old school and totally rocking. Like artneuro said, it is laid back, I like that, too. Like, you know, it isn't really extreme in a straight forward and in your face kind of way. This is righteous.

I loved the style, very much like Death Cab or some other indie group. It was a little repetive towards the beginning but it rocked for the most part.
