 This song could be a major Top 40 hit with the right producer and vocalist. Not that your vocals are bad, I just think maybe if they weren't so clipped-sounding, the message would come across easier. Try holding the "Joe"s a little longer. Maybe it's just me. Good work!  :up: |

WOW!!!!!! I LOVED THIS SONG!!!!!!!!!!!!! Don't worry, I agree with GreginAlaska, your voice is great. I would kill for a voice like that. Extremely well-written, performed, and produced song. The lyrics, melody, and your voice recall Michelle Branch to me (and that's a compliment ~ she's my favorite artist!). The only thing I would change is instead of having the song cut off so abruptly, I would have it end on just a guitar chord. Try adding that in. Just strum and let it fade out. Other than that, this song is perfect. This ranks up there with *No Regrets* (another great song here on iCompositions). I can't wait to hear more songs from you! (y) (y) (y) (y) (y) |

Great all around. I think maybe you should try a remix with "drier" vocals (I'm new to music production ~ is that the correct term?). You know, just a straight vocal performance and without effects. Very well-written and performed. I'm a pianist and envy those who can play good guitar like that. Your dad is pretty good! (y) I'd love to hear more of your work! |

A great song, especially considering I don't know normally like electronica/dance. The only issue I have is that the (very brief) drum sample placed off the beat is kind of annoying. Line it up with the other tracks and the song will sound much better. However, I think you did a great job overall. (y) |

I really like this piece. I don't normally listen to too much jazz, but I'm downloading this right now. I think you did a great job arranging and working with the loops (I didn't even realize they were loops until I read the description of the song!). However, I think the recording would be much nicer if you: (1) got a damper pedal for your keyboard, and (2) made the drums and bass a little bit higher in the mix. I'm not saying less piano, but more drums/bass. Great job overall!!!!! I look forward to hearing more of your work! (y) |

Wow!!!!!! As a pianist, I love songs that revolve around piano, and this one is nothing but so even better!!!!!! Very well performed and composed. While I am pretty good at the acoustic baby grand, I have trouble getting the sound I want when I go to a MIDI keyboard and the Software Instrument piano. You, apparently, have no such issue. Great song to chill out to. I'm downloading this one right away!!!!!!! Very well arranged and fun to listen to, although the vocals are a little annoying and unnecessary. Also, I think the song would be better if it ended on a big chord with piano, drums, trumpet, etc. (all instruments) instead of just finishing with the solo. Excellent job overall ......... I'd love to hear more of your material! |

As a pianist, I love it when artists (especially GB artists) remind us that a piano can carry a great song all by itself. I think you might want to remember this and consider doing an acoustic remix. It would probably be better with just piano, unless you could maybe get a live drummer so the loop wouldn't be repetitive though. I'm intrigued by this piece and can't wait to hear more of your work. WOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I LOVE this song!!!!!!!!!! The beat is great, the vocals are clear, the mix is well done. I downloaded this right away. I can't find a single flaw in this song!!!!!!! What I especially love is the lyrics are well-written, but when I listen to the song, the music just washes over me, and the words seem to disappear. Great work!
